Can you believe The manager called the POLICE because I refused to go to a drive thru stall! Yesterday on 6.13 at 2:15 pm, I went to this McDonald’s on 138 in the Kroger parking lot! (We live in the area and ALWAYS patronize this location) After a great day at the movies my 2 nephews and my daughter wanted a happy meal to culminate a excellent day! So of course I can do that right?!? Everything was excellent, my order was taken promptly, I was able to pay quickly and with no issue and then we went to window number 2! The young lady hands me their drinks, and ask me to pull forward into one of the stalls, I look at the stalls they are all FULL! I say to the young lady that I can’t move up all the stalls are full, I don’t want to drive around the building to find a parking space I’ll just wait here for the happy meals. She closes the window and lets them know I’m not moving. Another employee comes to the window she ask if I want a refund. I say to her “ I didn’t request a refund, I’d just like the happy meals” she tells me if I don’t move up she’ll need to get the manager. (I’ve been in management, I thought to myself you getting the manager would be bad for you not me.. how wrong was I) I tell her that it’s fine she can get the manager. This entire back and forth has taken 4 to 5 minutes. I can now see the Happy meals in the counter! The manager come to the window and shoves the 6 dollars and some odd cents at me, I told him again I don’t want the refund I’d like the kids happy meals. He tells me that I have to move up, they’re holding on nuggets I repeat to him that all the stalls are full. He says I can’t hold up the line, if I DONT MOVE HE’LL CALL THE POLICE ON ME! ( I’ve done nothing wrong, I have 3 AWARE kids in the car.. and again I’ve done nothing wrong I wasn’t cussing at the employees being rude or belligerent so I didn’t think he could or would call the police for all of these reason.. how wrong was I again?!?) He proceeds to call the police! And I contact Cindy with the comments and complaints. We are both on the phone, I turn to him and say all I want are these kids happy meals.. we can both hang up and go on about our days, he ignored me. Then began to tell the employees how ridiculous I was. THE POLICE ARRIVE. Luckily for me Officer J. Cook was reasonable. He came over to me in the drive thru where my daughter is now crying because the police have been called on Mommy. We began to talk, the manager interrupted the officer to ask him to make me move. Officer Cook told him to calm down and we continue to talk, the manager called 911 back to request a supervisor because officer Cook didn’t make me move immediately. I moved my car, Officer Cook comes back, with the 6 dollars and some odd cents saying he’s refusing to serve me. Not only have you embarrassed me, you’ve added emotional distress to these 8,7 and 5 year olds. They where disappointed they LOVE McDonald’s! It’s unbelievable, to have the police called on you for not circling the building when all drive-thru...
Read moreThe customer service displayed by the three people listed below was unprofessional, rude and inappropriate. The individuals in question were one of the managers on duty (working the 1st drive -thru window), along with the two young ladies (working the 2nd drive-thru window . One had long braids and spoke with a heavy accent, the other one had a deep raspy voice), all three employees presented a negative attitude and was very unprofessional.
Here is what actually happened. I pulled up to the first window to pay. The lady asked if I had a Mcgriddle, I said yes. She then took my debit card and then gave it back along with my receipt. When I got to the second window, I noticed it was the wrong receipt. So I notified the lady at the window. She said ok, then she yelled back to the lady at the 1st window, to let her know there was a mistake with my order. I heard the lady at the 1st window say something, then there was laughter in the store. At that time the lady with the braids and heavy accent changed her demeanor and became rude and unprofessional.
So, I asked to speak to a manager, the lady with the braids said, the lady who took your payment was the manager, so hold on, she will be hear (in a condescending tone along with the negative body language), by that time the second lady appeared (with the deep raspy voice) and said what's going on, so the lady with the braids said, he said this is not his order. So the lady with the deep raspy voice walked away, then came back with an unprofessional disposition and said you owe us more money. As I extended my hand to give them the debit card to pay the remaining balance, she then said nevermind, you got your food you can go (again the demeanor and tone was very unprofessional). At that point I asked for the store manager's name. They reluctantly gave me the store managers name. They said it was Ms. Sonya. I did let them know I would be filing a complaint due to the poor ,unprofessional conduct and service I received.
I was very disappointed, saddened and frustrated to receive this type of experience from an establishment where customers pay for a service I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service seems to be deteriorating on a...
Read moreThis review is for Mcdonalds on 138 an Conyers. Horrible. I waited in the drive thru for about 7 minutes, I thought they were closed. I drove around to see 2 other cars in the drive thru so I backed up and waited. Still not response so I drove around and waited in line about 23 minutes only to be told that they could not take my order. I asked who takes the orders, "oh, she cleaning up too" but I observed her engaged in horse play while cleaning with the headset. I asked for a manager that took another 10-15 minutes. The two cashiers kept talking and looking at me and eventually walked away from the window. I finally got someone's attention asked to place my order, can't do it at the window, i need to drive around again, wait, what I already waited 20+ minutes on line, and you are telling me to drive around again. I asked for the manager, "oh she is still in the restroom...I asked wad she sick, I had waited about 5-7 minutes. Finally she came from the direction of them dining room, told the girl that's was suppose to be working drove thru t I put them headset back on, we are not closed. Instead of Makin things right with me, clearly there is a problem, she said she could not take my order it the window, I need to drive around again. By now it is 137am, are you telling me you cannot take my order. She did not. " I can take just not at this window, you need to drive around again." Can't or won't? There was no professionalism, courtesy, or respect for the customer. When she saw the girl with the headset off and she has to tell her the restaurant was still open and to put them headset back on clearly there was a problem. I got back on I20 with my hungry toddler who had just woke up..totally didappointed, needing a coke to try to calm my reflux,...
