Back in July, I went through the drive thru to get a dozen donuts. When I got home, to say I was disappointed was an under statement. I called and had to leave a message. Within 30 minutes I received a call back. I spoke with John and everything seemed to be okay. He took my name and phone number and told me the next time I came he would replace the donuts and write it down on a book in case he was not there, a record would be there. Fast forward until tonight. I went back to the drive thru and asked about getting my replacement donuts. Despite having a voicemail showing where John had returned my call, the young man at the window kept questioning me and my husband like we were lying. Then he told us John was not there. The next thing was he went and got someone else to take over the situation. Pretty much got the same runaround and then he goes and gets John who was actually there. Then John came to the window and acted like he did not know what I was talking about. Again I told him that I spoke to him on July 18th and when we told him that we were told he wasn’t there. He told us he is in and out of the store. We then told him that to not worry about replacing them and that we would not be back. It’s not about the donuts but lack of respect that was shown to us. I will be the first to say my husband was upset about it and rightly so. I am sure that there have been situations in the past where individuals might have been dishonest, but when someone can show you visible evidence, then take them at their word.
Deeply disappointed in what Ralph’s has become. In the past, I would have tried to be a little more understanding but never again. I have no intention of ever going back. I know that I am only one customer, but I hope this will be a...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious doughnuts. They're the best in the area.
I recommend a Hilary if you enjoy chocolate cream donuts dusted with confectionary sugar, a maple bacon twist if you prefer a savory sweet combo (try the sausage another time instead of bacon as it is my favorite!) or a blueberry (another favorite) or chocolate muffin.
The twist is a classic and is always delicious if you're looking for that traditional yeast donut. There are cake donuts, ones filled with everything from jellies to creams to seasonal flavors. Their bearclaw donut is the size of a plate and deliciously decadent with apple chunks, caramelized sugar and warm cinnamon. And, if you enjoy the simplicity of an affordable coffee and cream or a hot tea with some amazing conversation stop in in the afternoons.
The evening folks are funny and bring some laughter to the evening. We go as a family once a week and they always make us feel welcomed. They always keep my coffee topped off and check to see if we'd like anything more.without making you feel pressured.
TIPS- -Donut dozens are very affordable and if you get there in the morning their biscuits and sausage gravy is really good. 2 biscuits with gravy is ridiculously filling and you can add bacon as a side.
-They also offer a few breakfast sandwiches all day made with bacon, sausage, egg, cheese and/or tenderloin. Bring your own mayo if you don't like mustard or enjoy it simple which is also good....but would be better with Mayo. ;)
-If you're looking for a particular treat give them a call and they'll make it for you to pick up in a few days.
AND speaking of tips...don't forget to tip as they are providing a service at an incredibly affordable and family...
Read moreWe were so disappointed! We walked in with a party of 5 with 2 separate orders. My sis stepped up and completed her order. I stepped up and started ours. I got a donut with sprinkles. We saw there were 3 cinnamon buns left, so we said we definitely want those! The waitress asked how many we were getting so she'd know what size box. I turned to ask my party if we wanted 1 dozen or 2. The waitress said, I'll be back. She stepped over to another lady that was calling out to her. The lady said I'll be quick, give me those cinnamon buns. We just stood there and watched her get the last buns. After she was done, she asked what else do you want. I asked if there were any buns in the back. They were out. I said you can put the box up! We'll take the one with sprinkles and that's it! We voiced our concern to the man at the register who seemed to be the manager. He said yep they go fast. I explained again. He said yep, they go fast. Really? I know it seems silly. It's just good business practice to treat customers with respect. I know they're busy, but none of the staff were kind and...
