The food here was amazing! Not many options but wonderful. My friend got the summer salad and she hasn't stopped thinking about it. I got the chipotle spicy chicken which was tasty! The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the customer service. We got sat down, and noone came to us to say anything for almost 10 minutes. We then started looking more at people then Sayana finally said ill be right with you. When she came she just seemed annoyed and rushing. We asked for substitutions for a couple things, such as adding arugula into the salad being they have it on the menu, (also the salad comes with cold grilled chicken and we asked for chicken like I was getting, fried,) which they cannot do and I Guess makes sense with a small kitchen, but instead of being sorry or any form of sincerity she just said nope. We asked what about this. "Nope. Can't do that" Just... aggressively and as if she was happy to say no. All in all a very pretentious attitude about her. I recommend coming here ONLY for the food(and beer). The lavender bees knees was also AMAZING. Highly recommend it Just don't be surprised if they make you wait a while for even a hello or any type of greeting. I get being busy but... say something, anything, to the people sitting and waiting.

I had a great experience at 7 Devils last night! For starter’s the atmosphere gives off a cool sports bar theme, that reflects parts of Oregon, such as the ocean. The tables and floor were very clean, and initially, nobody was at any of the other tables, likely because drinking doesn’t start until later in the evening. Our waiter was exceptional, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience, offering recommendations about some of their iconic food items. After the time we ordered, it took roughly 20 minutes for the food to be ready, that’s a reasonable time. The food itself was sensational, I got the Rockfish tacos, which had fried fish, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, with a side of their own sauce and pickled carrots. The combinations in these tacos really went together, and it tasted very fresh. All of our food was really good, while the waiter walked by, I saw her carrying a big plate of nachos to another table, and those things looked loaded. I was definitely satisfied with 7 Devils, and I’ll be returning the next time I’m in Coos Bay.

We tried Seven Devils for a Saturday lunch date and it was just fine. The server was nice, we were sat quickly, the food came out quickly, but it was under seasoned and not as good as other places around. Overall it was good, and I'm sure the drinks and beer are great (we only got one cocktail) but it's not a great meal place for us. - - - Poutine: and it was good, but the fries felt a little over cooked. Thai Chili fried chicken: It was good enough. I liked the bite sized pieces, but was confused of the bed of crushed peanuts and celery ribbons and felt it needed more salt. Shrimp and grits: My husband said it was good but needed salt and he was disappointed in the shrimp. Huckleberry lime drop: My Husband said it was really good.

Took my son there for dinner tonight. We understood that the place is understaffed. We each decided to try one of their craft beers while we waited for our table. We stood patiently in line behind a couple and a young man. Once served, the bartender became engaged in a conversation with a person seated at the bar and ignored us. My son proceeded to step right up to the bar and make it apparent that we were in the service line. Once we had our drinks, I paid the tab and tipped the server. We went outside to wait for our table. The restaurant is lovely and the patio area is charming. We were happy to see that well behaved dogs on leashes were welcome. There was even a water dish for the four footed family members. Eventually my phone indicated a text message and our table was ready. The menu was on the table and we each scanned the selection, which seemed very limited. My son finally selected the only chicken dish. I had been hoping for crab or shrimp, perhaps even surf and turf, but the only seafood choice was tuna or oysters…not what I was craving.Actually, there were no beef or pork dishes offered. There were several vegetarian options.I inquired about the soup of the day, cream of mushroom, and decided on that. Some time later, our meals arrived. My son’s dish consisted of six chicken tenders in a really flavorful chipotle glaze with a handful of “kettle fried” potato chips. $13.50! My soup had great flavor, but no crackers or bread, so I asked about getting a piece of sourdough as an accompaniment, I was informed that I would be charged for it. Okay. No problem. A short time later the server arrived with a miniature loaf of sourdough bread which was pre-sliced. No butter, just the bread. I ate it along with my soup. $6.00 for the bowl of soup, $3.50 for the bread. We didn’t take long at all to finish our meals. Then we waited for our check…and waited. The patio was filled with folks waiting to dine. We were waiting to pay our bill and leave. In our opinion, there is room for improvement in the menu, and the servers could use some help. This has all the physical elements to be a great gastro...

The beer was ok. The food is average. The service was horrible. We came in as a group of 10. Had to wait a hour for a table, on a Thursday. Was only offered a drink menu to order drinks while waiting for our table 45 minutes into our wait. But no one came to get our drink order. We sat at the table for 15 minutes before a server came over. Then on top of it, they charged us a 18% mandatory tip. Excuse me! Tips are for service above and beyond. For those of you who have no problem with this practice, you do not understand the service industry. You do not encourage good service by charging a mandatory charge for tables of 8 or more. Our server did not try because he had a guaranteed tip on our table. So while he might have made some good money on our table that evening, the brewery will not get any future business from anyone in our party. And returning customers is what you should be striving for. So good job guys. We tried "the boat " down the street, and we will be returning to that one next time we are in town.

Oh, and we had 3 different parties paying for their meals. On 1 of the tickets, the 18% tip came to almost $40 on a $50 total bill. Not sure how the server did not catch it or how the computer messed it up so badly.

8/22. We went back for lunch. Service was much better. The tuna cakes were fantastic. The beer was good and cold. Will be back next time we are...

Went here a couple month ago. Was disappointed with the food but decided to give it another try today

First off, very over priced. I was going to get the halibut but wasn't going to spend $48 for it (plenty of other places in the vicinity that has halibut for way less and just by my first experience, probably better tasting).. I ordered the oysters today and they were AWFUL!! Super bitter. I told my server, she took it back in the kitchen, came back out and told me the cook knew what was wrong and she said she wouldn't be "pushing the oysters today".. so I asked what was wrong.. and she kept avoiding the answer. So I kept pushing the question. I told her I wanted to make sure it wasn't something that was going to make me sick. So she said she'd go ask the cook. She brought me my check and was trying to say goodbye quickly (hoping I wouldn't keep asking) and I asked again. She then told me they were fine and the cook said nothing was wrong. Completely different response than her first one. I would not recommend this place. I leave a lot of reviews for a lot places and it has to be BAD to get a bad review from me and this one definitely takes the cake. 0/0 recommended. I spent $64 on a burger, kids grilled cheese a beer and a cocktail. She took the oysters off or it would...
