Margaritas Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Coos Bay

The food is great! I grew up near the border in AZ, and so I'm used to authentic Mexican food. Margaritas Mexican Grill has authentic Mexican cuisine with a coastal flare. I love the fish enchilada, which is amazing, as well as the regular cheese enchilada. Beans and rice are great! Love their salsa. The margaritas are very good. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They just seem to be possibly understaffed at the moment. On our last visit, there was only one server serving every table. It was on a Friday night, and so we had to wait a while for refills on drinks and for more salsa, etc. The server was doing the best she could, but it was unusual to have to wait that long as normally we have never had to wait that long before. My family had the good fortune to find this small in size place during the Covid takeout to support our local non-chain restaurant. We samples everything from Chimichangas covered with sauce, guacamole, and cheese...to fish tacos that we want more of.

The people are amazing and the service was quick! We phoned in our order and it was ready for pickup through the drive through window.

Really enjoyed the food and the price was more than fair.

This hidden gem has gone on our takeout rotation and I can't wait to come in, sit down and enjoy a solid meal with my friends and family.

Ordered Super nachos with ALL of the toppings on the side. I made the instructions clear as we live on the other side of town and I didn’t want soggy chips, by the time we got home. They literally put all of the meat and cheese (the stuff that makes the chips soggy) on the chips and closed it up in a container (that made it worse) and gave me the onions, tomatoes and guacamole (forgot the sour cream) in small side, containers.
