This review would be 4 stars if we were talking about the food alone but we aren't. When I first walked in everything looked somewhat good. But then we sat down and the first thing I noticed was stains on the chair. Which okay thats reasonable when we are discussing eating curry so I looked past it. But then when we sat down I was brought a plate that was still kinda dirty! I had to wipe the plate off with a napkin because it had crumbs on it. Which I was again willing to look past but then I looked down at the floor and it was absolutely disgusting!! I have never seen a restaurant floor look so sticky and grey with grime in my life. It looks like it is never mopped. Then I noticed on the wall right to the left of the table there were drips of who knows what still left and it looks like food might've splat the wall but was never even wiped down. Then I was sitting there and as you can see in the photo I added there is the carpet which I initially thought was dark grey but upon further inspection, there is a corner that is light grey, the initial color but it is so dirty that it's dark greyish brown. Im not one to leave negative reviews or any reviews really but I felt I needed to to inspire some change! Maybe some mopping?? Then the hotel guests were walking from the pool with no shoes on and honestly it made me so uncomfortable because the floors are so dirty. I think my friend and I's experience would've been much better had we not been grossed out by the cleanliness of the plalce. Now some of you might be like, hey they could be super busy and blah blah blah but we were the only customers for over an hour so there is plenty of time for someone to get some hot water and soap and a mop. Also, my friend asked for a twenty dollar bill to be broken so we could leave a cash tip and two tens were brought back....now we are typically generous tippers but it bothers me when people do that kind of thing, basically giving us no other option. I have worked in food service and typically mopping is required before we opened and after...always....everyday. The cleanliness killed our appetites. If I am spending over $20 on a meal, I expect it to be served in a...

I have never left a bad review for an establishment before but the amount of false 5 star reviews made me feel compelled to help others so that they would not have to relive the horrible experience my sister and I had. Not only was it difficult to find the restaurant but immediately when we came in we were met with an unwelcoming attitude when inquiring about a table. The arrangement for seating was awkward and we were told all other tables were reserved (they were not.) After we did sit down the incense that was burning made it hard for my sister who has asthma to breathe. After ordering our food, everything came out within a couple minutes… which was concerning because it confirmed to us that our food and mango lassies were not fresh. My sister and I both ordered our own butter chicken dishes which are to come with a side of rice each. When they brought our food they gave us one bowl of rice (expecting us to share.) We had to find our server to ask for the other bowl of rice. When asked about our food we were honest. The rice was stale and tasted old, the chicken tasted as if it was overcooked or old, and the sauce for the butter chicken was way too sweet. The only thing we enjoyed was the garlic naan. The hostess tried to blame it on it being too spicy for us… which it was not. She then avoided us for the rest of our time there and we had to find another employee to ask for our check. From bad service, to even worse food, I highly do not recommend...

Our party of 8 had an outstanding dining experience tonight. Our server Dharsh ensured that our meal was perfect, even calling us before we arrived for our reservation to make sure the table he selected would be comfortable for everyone in our party. He made great suggestions for our us to try and made sure our meal didn't contain a specific allergen. We ordered half our items "Level 2" and half "Level 6" and he made sure to keep them straight as he brought them to the table. He was kind, enthusiastic, and concerned about making sure everything was to our enjoyment. Even the chef came out to check in with us - we were very pleased! The cuisine is Southern Indian - Chinese Fusion - so naturally the best flavors the world has to offer, and their execution is wonderful! The restaurant is in the lobby of a hotel so there were several hotel guests walking past the dining area, but the environment is pleasant and they have used the space well. We tried a Gobi dish, a Bhindi masala, Chicken Vindaloo, Dum Chicken Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala, jeera rice, Noodles with Chicken, a few different naan, Methi Matar Malai, and a few other dishes to boot. Dharsh even brought out a couple desserts for us to try before left. Wonderful job Khao Macha! We will be back and we wish you great success in your upcoming restaurant endeavors...

Do yourself a favor- don’t go, just don’t. We went with a party of 6 which included kids and elderly. The following were the things we ordered and our comments alongside: 1. Manchow soup- came with crispy noodles that were rancid and green onions were dried out. 2. Chicken lollipop- the inside was raw 3. Dahi kabab- this is probably the only dish that was okay. 4. Chicken fried rice- the worst we have ever tasted. It smelled like egg and ginger with the chicken having the filthiest smell. 5. Chicken chettinad- the chicken was with bone, which we were already made aware of before ordering. But then it came with two drumsticks cut in half but with skin on. If you have never tasted skin-on chicken in gravy- then I would recommend that you don’t. 6. Paneer tikka masala- horribly sweet even with a 3 spice level. The paneer was akin to rubber. The ambiance: it is inside radisson in Copley. If you don’t want topless people waiting at the lobby right by the restaurant, then just avoid. We saw Google reviews and went. $100 wasted and a horrid lunch. On I should mention- the waitress was really sweet.

An absolutely wonderful experience. Niki, the manager, was extremely warm and welcoming. The gorgeous artwork and coziness added a lot to the charm of a small restaurant and my partner and I ended up having a much more romantic evening than planned because of how cute everything was. Niki asked us about ourselves and our food preferences and later gave us a tour of the property, including a converted school bus which they use as their kitchen which is covered in really cool artwork by a local artist. And of course, the food was incredible. It is at least as good as the best Indochinese food in the area. The Dahi kebab is a signature for a reason. One of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Niki even gave us dessert to make sure we got to try it. I've never had it before but it was also, of course, excellent. This is a small restaurant that I wouldn't be surprised to be featured on Food network or magazines as an unknown gem soon. It oozes comfort while still feeling very upscale. Couldn't recommend more.
