My experience started off on a rough note, but thankfully it improved once we finally got settled. When we first arrived, we ended up waiting over ten minutes at the hostess stand with no one in sight. Eventually, I had to walk over to the front desk and ask an employee there if they could help us find the hostess so we could be seated. Once we were finally shown to our table, things didn’t quite smooth out immediately. Our server was not notified that we had been seated in her section, so we sat for a while without service until we flagged down another employee who kindly tracked down our server for us. Once things got sorted, though, the rest of the visit was much more enjoyable. Our server, once aware of us, was friendly and attentive, and the food itself turned out to be very good. Everything came out hot, fresh, and nicely presented, which made up for the delays at the start. I also decided to try one of the newer drink options on the menu—the sparkling mimosa—and it ended up being one of the highlights of my meal. It was light, refreshing, and the addition of edible glitter made it absolutely beautiful to look at. It was festive and fun, and I would definitely order it again on a return visit. Overall, while the beginning of the experience left me a little frustrated, the quality of the food and drinks helped redeem the visit, and I would give this place another try.

This by far is one of the worst experiences I have had at a cracker barrel we waited over an hour to receive food the server named Chloe was very nice I ordered Grandma's breakfast, with a piece of catfish and the 2 other people's with me ordered a fried. Chicken meal and the other was a sampler with rib tips and chicken tenders with a added side salad both had sides with a order of beignets which by the way came out 15 minutes after we ordered and then the side salad came we saw people come in after us order eat and leave before we even got out food to the table and when it came to the table my pancakes were cold my eggs were dry and the rest of my party's food was cold and not good at all it server and a separate waitress came to the table to let us know that s manager would be by to talk to us which coincidentally. he had already walked past our table at least one time he came to apologize and to let us know. that , there were new cooks in the back but he understood that there was no excuse and took half off of our bill I'm so disappointed this is the second restaurant that I have went to where their service and food was horrible. I'm just going to have to start cooking at home. So sad. Hopefully if you go here your experience will be better than mine but I am done

Arrived at 11 on a Sunday morning. Was told 40 minute wait. Was full 40 minutes, but was not even busy. Then after I was seated. My waitress took my order. I waited almost another 40 minutes to get my food and was surprised that I got my food before 2 other tables that were seated with drinks before I was seated. One customer got up and left because she waited so long. The waitress came out to find her gone and got loud about where did she go she hadn't paid her bill and another waitress informed her that she hadn't gotten her food yet either. The waitress pit tgefood on the tableanyway and walked away. I feel like the entire staff was over the age of 50 and the cook was slow. The management needs to re evaluate their hiring requirements... I mentioned this to my neighbors at rv park. They said Oh yeah. Thatpkace is horribly slow.....

Horrible experience.

Highlights.... -There was a seating delay due to a shortage of cooks -The server was not friendly or attentive (we were her only table) -Food was incorrect. Server did not come back to check on food. -Manager was ok

We were visiting from out of town and stopped in for lunch. The hostess informed us they were short on cooks, so there was a long wait time... about half an hour. Not a problem. We decided to wait. It ended up being almost an hour.

The hostess sat us and brought us our menus. She came back a few minutes later to let us know our server had to take a phone call, so the hostess took our drink order. Everyone seemed a bit disorganized despite the restaurant being mostly empty. We had a server bring one of three drinks. Another server brought the second drink, and then the first server came back with the last drink.

Our server came to the table and said "Sorry, I told the hostess I had to take a phone call," almost as if she was trying to shift some of the blame to the hostess. I told her it wasn't a problem. (I was a server for a while. I get it, things come up.) She took our order. We waiting an average amount of time for our food. After our server dropped off our food we did not see her again until we were almost finished eating. Two of our three orders were wrong. One dish had the wrong side, and the other was a steak that wasn't cooked well done when the guest asked for medium rare. I don't know if she went and took another call, but we were her only table and she did not check on us once. The hostess was seating a table in her section and I was finally able to wave her down. I ended up eating the different side because we were so hungry due to the long wait. The other guest sent back the steak. She told us she had to take the steak back to the kitchen.. He was in the middle of eating the other food that was on his plate, so I we put the steak on my dirty used plate since I was already done eating and she brought it back to the kitchen.

After a new steak was brought back out, the manager stopped by. He said "I saw we had to send back the steak. Is it cooked ok now?" Guest replied yes. Manager said "Good. I wanted to make sure we didn't mess up again." He never asked if everything else was ok, or how the service was. At other Cracker Barrel's we've been to the manager usually stops by with a friendly "how is everything?" The server returned shortly after dropping off the steak to give us the check. The guest wasn't even finished eating. She never asked if we needed refills or wanted anything else like dessert. I guess it was time for her to move on to her next table.

Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with my dining experience at this location. If I am ever in the area again, I will be sure to stop anywhere else.

I have been a server for a few years. I know it's hard when the cooks are slow, and that's not the servers fault, but horrible customer service is 100% the...

Service was borderline neglect/malice It wasn't busy, no reason the service should be this bad. The server, who i don't want to call out by name, (her name sounds like the opposite of a Barbie doll), made it so we will never be back. She needs some serious retraining or some attention pills. The server was initially very nice, but after she took the order, she never came back. Drinks never filled. Food that was wrong was just left to sit. Eventually, we got tired of looking and waiting for her to check on us, so we just ate the wrong orders and messed up dishes!! She never came back, haha šŸ˜„ It was like she ghosted the table for a good 30-40 min. Maybe she forgot we were there, maybe she hates us, we didn't know. It wasn't busy but it wasn't slow either, maybe 50% capacity. She showed up to drop off a check after what seemed like forever, and we asked for a couple of things, and she only returned with a small box we asked for. So we sat there for a bit, waiting again for some refills on coffee, among other things. Eventually, we just left. Worst service I've had in 20+ years, and I also worked as a server for 10 years, so I've seen my fair share of horror stories from both sides of the table. Food did taste good, but some things were wrong with the orders, food temp, missing sides, all could have been fixed if we had a server, but we had a ghost šŸ‘» The place looked cool with the little overpriced gift shop and guns on the wall and whatnot but wasn't spectacular, kinda dirty, and grimy, but that's restaurants for ya.

Checkout was painful. The pronoun signaling person was literally taking 5 min per customer to cash out a check. Asking about candy or other items to buy, asking about our food and service, asking about the day, the weather, just random cringe small talk as the line grew behind us. I thought maybe they knew the person, but then when I approached the human rain delay struck again! More dumb questions, and nonsense really. I just wanted to pay, but I had to use a gift card (only reason we chose the place, gotta use up the card before they bankrupt as a company) so that took a whole extra minute to focus and ask about. The tension was rising rapidly behind me as people started to sign and waddle impatiently behind me, luckily I was only 2nd in line and after a good 10+ min I was out the door.

Never to return on any normal circumstance, woohoo add it to my anti-bucket list. Things I'm never going to do again. Cracker...

Let's talk about my last trip to cracker barrel. Dad and I stopped here around 7pm to get dinner. I order eggs toast bacon and it came with biscuits and gravy and hashbrown caserole. Dad ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes and gravy. 40 plus minutes before our food comes out. When it shows up at the table. My toast and hash brown caserole are missing. I ask the waitress about it she says I'll go ask for it and almost immediately returns with it. Bacon is good but it's warm not hot. My over easy eggs are cold. Gravy is warm. Has brown stuff isn't very hot. Dad says My meatloaf is cold in the middle and so we're his potatoes. Waitress I'm really sorry we've been having problems with the kitchen. She asks Dad if he wants to have his meal remade. He says no because he doesn't want to wait another 40 minutes on it. Waitress says I'll take the meatloaf off the bill. Doesn't offer any assistance with my meal even tho it also is terrible. And it all looks as bad as it taste like it had been sitting somewhere for like 15 minutes plus. Dad is going to eat the meatloaf despite how bad it is because he is hungry. The waitress comes back after he ate at this point like a couple bites of it and she says my manager says I have to take this since we comped it and she takes the food from him. What. This is absolutely terrible customer service. Terrible food. I couldn't even get a straw for my iced tea. I love cracker barrel but absolutely a horrible experience. If they would somehow make this right I'd probably go back but I'm pretty angry about the way we were treated. It just isn't right at all to do that to your customers and act like it's normal and ok. I would not recommend anyone go to this location. I'm considering calling the health department and a few other people to report this restraunt. Sad part is. The waitress was really nice. There is nothing she could do and the manager wouldn't even come talk to us. Idk this really just doesn't sit...
