My laptop was locked by "bitlocker" so I took it to them and they were able to make it functional again; although I had to do a lot of personalization. One of the folders that they backed up wouldn't open due to permissions. They took over my computer remotely and couldn't correct the problem, so I was told to take it in for service. Afterwards, I went to the web, found the solution and changed the permissions myself.
My wife's laptop wouldn't recognize the internal hard drive, so again I called on Geek Squad. When I picked the computer up I was told that she needed a new motherboard. I refused to accept that, so I posed the issue to HP Community Support, and again found that all I needed was to install the storage management driver. I don't t know where they get these techs from, but it's apparent that they don't know what they're doing. Read moreI had the geek squad come out and hang 3 tv's and hook up my google home. i spent over 1,500 dollars. to start the person that cam to my house was rude. they hung 2 of my tvs crooked and told me it wasn't the tv it was my fire place mantel. i had to figure out the google myself the google door bell was put in wrong also. the next day i found out they also broke my optical outlet on my 4,000 dollar tv. i call the best buy and i was told some would call me back. i still have not heard from anyone and it is now day number 6...
