Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Coral Gables

If I would have checked the reviews I would not have eaten here so that’s on me, but I can’t let this one go without a review. Came in, ordered a 12” cheese pizza to go. (Bartender greeted me super awkwardly by the way). First pizza I got didn’t look fantastic to begin with but fresh out of the oven it was passable. However when I got to my car half a block away and opened up the box you could no longer see the lines from where the pizza was cut and the first slice I tried certainly reflected the preparation standards. So I brought it back and asked if they could just put it down a little longer… of course they couldn’t put the same pie down longer so they had to “re make” it… the second one was more well done, so at first glance it did look a little better, but when I got to my destination and opened up the box you can see what started me right back in the face (photo 2). So, I don’t know if when I said more well done it was actually code for way too much cheese? Or maybe that’s what they heard? Maybe their chefs are...

People.Let me tell You, How amaze this place is.I went Nigh time.The first impression at The Door.Mr. Dakota Greet Me and Family like we knew each other for Years.It was our first time in this place.The Place is Clean The people are Friendly.Dakota explain the menu to Us.and was like Magic.We order The Chicken wings to try out first."The Best Chicken wings in Town".The Coliflower Pizza is Unique its Have a Flavor and Spice like no other.Not hot spice,but flavor spice.Then I order The Meatballs Pizza with sweet peppers.Another hit of wonders.And Eggplant dish is a Must try,Not sour, perfectly serve with sauce.and Pizza Bread.Its Perfect.Finally Mr.Carlos Valladares, came up to our table to ask how was the food.He is the Manager.He know how to treat Customers.At the end We try their Cheesecake."The Best" In Freshness Taste,& Flavor.My 1rst. Today I ordered 2 pizzas and the door dash driver called me to let me know someone wrongfully so picked up my pizza and therefore they wouldn’t de able to deliver my order. We then called the restaurant and we were told in 10mins they could remake our order if we were willing to pick it up. We started heading to the restaurant to get our pizzas and when we called to let them know we were on our way and if they could kindly wait 5mins after their closing time for us to make it there we were told a second driver had passed by and picked it up. No one from Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza ever thought to call us and let us know that our pizza had been picked up by the wrong person nor that a second driver had passed by to pick it up. We waisted time, gas, and patience… This is really frustrating and we will never order from DoorDash nor Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza again. Both businesses just lost a...
