I had an important meeting at the Plaza and parked in their lot without hesitation, as it felt safe. After an hour, I returned to my car to head to my next appointment, only to find two boots on my tires and a bright orange sticker on my truck. Needless to say, I was not pleased.

I immediately called the number on the sticker, and a woman answered in Spanish, refusing to speak English. My frustration grew after multiple calls, but I eventually reached Adam, who assured me that someone would be sent to explain why I had been booted. Fifteen minutes later, a staff member arrived and demanded $65, stating that I had not parked "head-in only."

I asked, "Where are the signs? I don’t see anything noticeable." His response? "There are a few around." That was it—no further explanation, no clear justification. He then mentioned that their company was hired by the Plaza Hotel to boot cars.

Not only did this make me late for my next work appointment, costing me a financial opportunity, but I was also forced to pay the $65 fine, adding unnecessary stress and financial burden.

After further observation, I noticed other vehicles parked tail-in, including in valet and handicap spots, with no boots on their tires. Rules for thee, but not for me?

I am not wasting my time calling the Plaza Hotel’s management—I am taking this directly to civil court. I have evidence and images of their corrupt and unjust policies, and I intend to hold them accountable. See you in court,...
