I came here with a group of friends to try the Miami Spice deal. We made reservations. We were sat immediately. We had a nice table in the wine room.
Our waiter, Andrew, was amazing! So attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, polite, and professional! Probably one of my favorite servers of all time! The perfect experience in customer service! He had a couple of helpers who were also amazing. There was a lady who helped him and took pictures for us. She was wonderful!
The restaurant is very elegant. There are some “strange” things. Like the cowboy and cowgirl pictures on the bathroom doors- like you’re eating at a Texas barbecue. But the bathrooms are beautiful and just how you want them- with doors that go all the way to the floor! Just like being at home.
From the Miami Spice menu I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, the braised lamb shank and the mango sorbet. My friend ordered the strawberry Gazpacho and the filet mignon. My other friend ordered the Cesar salad and the zucchini Tataki, and my last friend ordered the Wahoo Crudo and lamb shank. As for the appetizers, the Cesar salad was a bit dry (not much dressing). The oysters were SO GOOD! The crudo was also delicious and so was the strawberry gazpacho. We shared an order of the Miami Rosemary fries. As for the entrees, the filet mignon was perfect. It was supposed to come with a potato fonduta, but came with mashed potatoes instead. The lamb shanks were very good! My friend and I usually don’t like polenta, but this was prepared to perfection! We both thoroughly enjoyed it. I couldn’t eat all of my lamb shank. It’s a good size serving. The zucchini Tataki was not good though. The waiter kept coming over to make sure that my friend liked it. She insisted it was fine, but didn’t really eat it. I tried a bite and didn’t like it either. She’s vegetarian so she didn’t really have any other choices.
If you have any items to go they hold it for you at the hostess stand. Even the bag is comes in is very nice!
I had a glass of white wine with my meal. My friend tried the mocktail with watermelon and soda. I also had the fries put on my bill. Altogether my bill was $100 before tip. This is the first place I’ve tried the MS deal where they didn’t automatically add gratuity.
I’m going again this week to try the MS lunch deal. I’ll update my review afterwards.
Update: I came here for lunch to try the Miami Spice deal. I ordered the ceviche as an appetizer, the Branzino for the entree, and the mango sorbet again for dessert. The ceviche was delicious! So was the Branzino. Only one friend had the filet mignon and this time it came with fries. She asked for salt and they brought out the cutest dog salt server! It had two buckets in each side. One had a Hawaiian black lava salt. The other bucket had a Persian salt. One friend had the kale ceasar salad. It’s a very big portion! She couldn’t finish it. The waiter said he’s never seen anyone finish it. My friends want to go back in November for a...
Read moreI’ve heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to give it a try on the last day of Miami Spice. The restaurant itself it’s so beautifully decorated. It’s large but it’s still feels cozy and romantic with the dim lights and displays of wine bottles. As soon as we sat down, they brought this soft bread with riccotta cheese that was delicious. After seeing the options, we decided to do the Wagyu Tasting Dining Experience and it was definitely worth the money. We started of with the Wagyu Bone Broth Beef Consommé. Alone, it had a strong taste but it pairs perfectly with the delicious Japanese milk bread that it came with. Next, we tried the Wagyu and Pearls. I did not think I was going to like steak tartare, but it was very tasty. The Wagyu Short Rib Oriecchiette was also very delicious and filling. The Wagyu flavor elevated the pasta. My favorite course of the experience was definitely the Pastrami Crusted Australian Margaret River Wagyu Filet. The filet was cooked to perfection and it paired so well with the mash potatoes. We also ordered the Twice Baked Potato and it may be the very best potato I have every tried. It was creamy and full of flavors. As a dessert, we had soft serve ice cream, which was good but nothing special. To drink, I tried the Prickly Pear Margarita and Palomita. They’re both tasty but I liked the Palomita more since it was refreshing. The service here was spectacular. In the beginning, they changed our servers twice but it did not impact the service. All the gentleman were respectful and provided amazing suggestions. One of them asked if we were celebrating anything special and when we said our birthdays, they included an amazing dessert of chocolate brownie and ice cream with chocolate and caramel on top. They sang happy birthday to us and gave us a card thanking us for celebrating our birthdays with them. This small gesture made the experience that much more special. The servers also anticipated our needs. They refilled our waters without us asking, changed our utencils and cleaned the table as needed. When they brought out some of the dishes, like the broth and dessert, they served it to us on the table. It felt like we were getting a small show with our courses. The combination of everything elevated the experience. I will definitely be returning to this...
Read moreThere’s a new glow coming from the old Fiola space, and it’s not just the flattering lighting. Daniel’s Miami has arrived, bringing a slicker, sexier energy to Coral Gables with the kind of dining room buzz and behind-the-bar swagger you can feel from the moment you walk in. The vision? Bold flavors, vibrant presentation, and no fear of a little excess… especially if it comes with caviar.
Yes, caviar is everywhere here, but it’s far from the only reason to swoon. The Chips and Dips turn the childhood snack on its head with caramelized onion, Kaluga caviar, and just enough crunch to make it addictive. The Basil Caesar Salad is a visual riot—think Jackson Pollock with romaine and parmesan—while the Wagyu & Pearls piles Arrowhead Beef Tartare on brioche toast with black garlic aioli and, naturally, more caviar. Seafood gets the same luxe treatment. The Florida Blue Crab Cake comes crowned with Kaluga caviar and Beacon Fisheries rock shrimp, Meyer lemon, and crème fraîche.
Foie lovers, prepare yourselves: the Foie Gras Crème Brûlée is easily one of the best foie dishes Miami has seen in a while. Hudson Valley foie meets toasted coconut, cashews, and mango for a dish that feels as South Florida as a sunset boat ride.
Whether you’re a Prime NY Strip loyalist, a Cowboy Ribeye devotee, or the type who can’t resist the indulgence of a Texas Wagyu Prime Rib with fresh horseradish, au jus, and béarnaise, Daniel’s delivers. The sides are no afterthought—think Maine Lobster Mac & Cheese with cave-aged Gruyère, Twice Baked Potato with sour cream, chives, and yes, more caviar, plus Corn Pudding with crème fraîche.
Start strong with Daniel’s Martini, built on your choice of Grey Goose vodka or Bombay Sapphire gin, Florida sea salt brined olives, lemon peel, and a “pour as much as you want” vessel of house dirty olive juice. End even stronger with a Valrhona Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet topped with vanilla ice cream, a graham cracker crusted Key Lime Pie with passion fruit purée, Soft Serve dressed in all your nostalgic toppings, or the can’t-miss gluten-free Banana Bread.
Daniel’s isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s a celebration of indulgence, of big nights out, of Miami dining at its most confident. Just don’t come here expecting restraint. Leave moderation...
