UPDATE 7/12/2025
Pains me to write this ..but today was definitely a turning point here. I have been a long time customer..years .with previous owners and now been here since new ownership has taken over.
When this place was first taken over the quality and the quantity of food was down in all ways .BUT then they turned it around and all was good
I am always nice and pleasant .over the last week when getting breakfast there I noticed again that what I was asking for I wasn't getting..was obviously not the same..so this morning I asked the waitress that is usually there TIFFANY if there was a new cook or something because the past few times it hasn't been the same..she said NO it's the same cook..I told something is going on..I am being charged for what I order and it is LESS...I work hard..spend good money here as breakfast is my main meal..she seemed to be annoyed that I asked or complained about that..talking about me..thinking I couldn't hear her..SAYING "it"s too early"(Oh ok sorry..when would be a good time to point this out and work for you!) to customers at counter and the other Co worker and one of the customers at counter who has no idea what is going on and none of his business obviously puts his two cents in to also say "Yea it is too early" then on top of that TIFFANY then does not bother to come back to my table to refill my coffee or anything..and the first thing I said is this has nothing to do with you .the nerve to go and talk right in front of me and run your mouth and talk derogatory about a customer ..SO UNPROFESSIONAL and CHILDISH. Sorry but I will complain or point something out if there is something obviously wrong..I spend and spent a lot of money here..well not anymore ..on top of it all after pointing out the fact that something is off and seems to be less than what was ordered ..it happened anyway and again today..and when going to pay for my meal another waitress that I usually have noticed I guess on the order was supposed to be another egg and she said oh you were supposed to have another egg .but didn't matter bill wasn't adjusted anyway..if it wasn't I was in a rush I would of made it a point to address the waitress and order and everything..I told the other waitress ..oh you people like to talk in here..when someone point something out or doesn't want to get overcharged for stuff they order and the order not being like it usually is and has been..and I said it loud hoping TIFFANY would hear..well guess the other waitress told Tiffany and they all talked more and why Tiffany didn't ever bother to pass to refill coffee or ask how everything was and was my order right(UNPROFESSIONAL!). The best part is it has nothing to do with the waitress what happened and was happening and told her so..but she still felt the need to get annoyed or whatever..who cares ..I have been a very good customer, this was a horrible experience and has changed my whole view of this place. ,
Also many times Tiffany is too busy sitting in booths having conversations with certain customers to come and see what you may need or want.. I usually wear a headset but when I am not it is like a soap opera in there..always talking about some customers..so rude and unprofessional..this plus the drop in food has totally turned me off to this place now. I suspect they will lose more customers as they observe the same things...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal patron of Coral Springs Diner since I moved to the area nearly 7 years ago, going just about every Sunday, but the last few months have left me sorely disappointed. The food, which once was reliably comforting and satisfying, has taken a noticeable downturn over the past four months. Dishes that used to be bursting with flavor now taste bland and processed, as though corners are being cut. I have shared my concerns with the wait staff, hostess, and manager. A few of the waitresses shared with me that about a month ago the cook walked out over frustration with the new owner. She mentioned he had many of the recipes “in his head”, so when he left, the homecooked recipes left with him. The manager assured me that, while the owners were taking an “active role” in things, the staff were trying to maintain the quality and they were going through some growing pains. She asked that I stick with them.
Fast forward to last Sunday, February 9, 2025. I ordered a feta cheese/spinach omelet and home fries. There were three of us in the party and once the food arrive, I noticed right away mine was cool. I asked one of my friends about his, and he said his was lukewarm as though it had been sitting for a bit (we noted it did take a little longer than normal for the food to arrive, but hadn’t though of that as an issue at the time). When the waitress came to check on us, I informed her my food was cold and asked that she just remove it from the bill. She took the plate away, and within 3 minutes the owner arrived at the table and asked what was wrong. I told him my food was cold and he said, “Are you sure, because food comes out of our kitchen hot”. I told him I was sure it was cold as I tried it. He replied that was “impossible” and I told him, “Look I tasted it and had it in my mouth and it was cold”, he then said, “You know, I am tired of people complaining. It would benefit me if you left and did not come back.” At that point, our table got up and left.
The once friendly and prompt service at Coral Springs Diner now feels disorganized and inattentive, to the point of rudeness. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to wait an excessive amount of time for a simple tea refill or for my order to be taken. Staff members seem distracted, and there’s a noticeable lack of coordination in the kitchen. Additionally, they appear to have a constant change in wait staff. This is a far cry from the diner I used to love. I’m now looking elsewhere for a diner who appreciates both the staff and customers. It’s such a shame to see a once-great local spot fall victim to poor management and a lack of attention to...
Read moreWe've been going here once or twice a month for breakfast/brunch for several months. Food has been good to okay, service as well. However, that got changed yesterday. I ordered a create your own burger. It got to the table and looked okay, but soon discovered there was no mayo, nor had waitress asked when she sat it down. Ketchup and mustard are on table. When she finally comes back to the table behind us, they ask for a box, table next to us asks for hot sauce. I catch her and ask for mayo. Off she goes. She brings back the box and the hot sauce but no mayo. Then she says oops, I'll be right back with your mayo. Off she goes to get my mayo, which she had to WALK RIGHT BY TWICE to get the box and hot sauce. Okay, well over 5 minutes after I get my burger, it's finally ready to eat. Bite down, CANNED MUSHROOMS on a nearly $12 burger. Scrape them off, say something to waitress when she comes back asking how food is. She says, oh yes, but they are jarred if that helps any. Um, no it doesn't. We go to pay, husband hands cashier bill and CC, cashier asks how our meal was. Husband tells her good except for the canned mushrooms on the burger. Cashier says oh no, we only use fresh. Husband says waitress confirmed it when it was mentioned to her. Cashier says well your server was lying then. I then speak up, stating I know what canned/jarred mushrooms look and taste like and that's what they were. Cashier then started arguing with me. I told her they were canned, I know what canned/jarred look and taste like, and she kept arguing about them being fresh as we just ended up walking out after payment completed. Really ???, saying your waitress lied, arguing with a customer, and most importantly LYING TO A CUSTOMER'S FACE!!!
I had to eat canned/jarred mushrooms when I was a kid because that's only what my mom would use and I absolutely hate them. They have a certain appearance, texture and taste, and there is no mistaking...
