I came back down to Florida after 5 years in the mid west. Missing my native Venezuelan food out there. Stopped by this location of Don Pan and was immediately reminded of my country’s food, ambiance and kindness. Marisol And the rest of her team are kind and wonderful to their customers. The service is fast, respectful and sweet. The food is JUST LIKE BACK HOME in Venezuela. All the seasoning is perfect. We’re in town for only 4 days and it’s worth the 20 min drive from Boca Raton just to have breakfast here every day. You can tell they care about their customers, their appearance and they take pride in their work. We had the desayuno criollo, empanada de queso, pan de bono, pie de parchita, the cafe con leche is perfect in every way, the pan dulce andino, the tequeños, pastelitos, everything was so good we were only sad we didn’t have enough time in town to try every single item on the menu. This is my little piece of heaven every Friday morning and any other time I get the opportunity to come back in an evening for dinner. You can taste the love and sense of pride that is put into making the delicious treats they offer. The people that work here like Marisol and Barbara make you feel like a part of their family.

Many times they are putting items on your table to try which are all so good! My favorites: Their ice coffee with milk and sugar, Venezuelan empanadas (any variety), their breakfast wraps and soups. Any dessert you try is sinful. Their cakes, pastries and breads you can purchase are excellent options to take home for you to share with your family.
