On Sunday 12/15/24,
Me and my wife ordered two sandwiches, and two bags of chips from this location. This location managed to totally mess up this order. My wife has a food allergy and specifically asked for NO LETTUCE on her sandwich, and you guessed it, that thing was loaded with lettuce. She is allergic to lettuce and eating that sandwich could’ve and would’ve been potentially FATAL. The sandwich contained the wrong meat (roasted beef instead of turkey) and wrong bread type. Also, a bag of chips was missing from the order as well. We did not realize this until we got home later that day. It was foolish for us to not have checked the bags before we left but we assumed 4 items would’ve been simple for the staff to pack up. We also didn’t have our receipt in the bag like we were supposed to.
I returned to the store to retrieve the missing of chips a little later. It wasn’t until my wife was ready to eat her sandwich and finally unwrapped it, she informed me of her sandwich being completely wrong and that she called the store to inform them of this mistake and the female manager (name?) was rude to her and hung up the phone on her. (In hindsight, the mistake presumably happened because the staff was completing an group order when we got there initially and they must’ve given us the wrong sandwich.)
I arrived there before my partner to voice my disappointment to the manager who mistreated my partner by hanging up the phone on my partner earlier. I literally stuck to the facts, I did not yell, I did not curse, and simply expressed to the manager mentioned that it was wrong that she hung up on her and that we will wait for my partner to arrive for her sandwich to be remade. I turned 180 degrees around away from the manager and grunted and punched my hand once in frustration. I never threatened this female manager or anyone. I simply stood there and waited by the sandwich making area in silence until my partner showed up. She proceeds to come out of the back room and tell me that if I was not going to be pleasant that I would have to leave. I said that I was just standing here. She then replies that she already called the police! I reminded her that no act of violence was perpetuated and no threats of violence were voiced.
I was understandably surprised that she called the police and was asking me to leave for just standing there. I recorded a video as she evaded the camera when she realized I was recording her. I left and went out to the common area of the plaza. The cops arrived and I told them the situation. My partner arrived to have her sandwich remade and she was quickly told she was trespassed also. Mind you, she is a chill and eloquent person. The sandwich had to be remade while we waited outside, and the young man on staff who who also there was so incompetent and slow that even after he wrote down the order, he still had to ask 3-4 times to verify the ingredients. I honestly believe this is possibly the catalyst to what started this issue to begin with. This situation was wild and clearly done out of malice by the female manager in the photos. Customers who saw the situation voiced their assessment of the situation as a clear act of PREJUDICE and DISCRIMINATION. Me and my partner were trespassed for 90 days based on the ignorance, irrational fear of a black people, and incompetence of this establishment’s manager.
I will NEVER return to this location and I will make this known to the higher ups. She should be fired. I will not stop until she is fired, so this doesn’t happen to anyone again. The video of this interaction will be all over social media. Jersey Mikes = Incompetence, racism, and irrationality. I got the police called on me and trespassed for literally grunting and punching my hand while my back was turned to the two employees on my third visit in a single day to correct THEIR incompetence. I repeat, the female manager on the clock called the police BEFORE she even asked me to leave.
This was unnecessary, embarrassing, and an opportunity to expose this business. GO TO PUBLIX....
Read moreSo my wife placed an order the other day through the Jersey Mikes app. On the app we ordered with the delivery option which was supposed to be delivered at 6:15. At 7pm we didn't get any type of confirmation about whats going on with the food so we called the restaurant. They informed me that the delivery company they use never picked up the food and that we need to call them. My wife then called door dash which nobody decided to answer. When she called back the restaurant they told her that we can pick up the food or get a refund. Because we were dissatisfied with the service completely we decided to just take the refund. 2 days later we notice a $5 dollar fee we were charged for canceling. Probably wont order from this establishment because of the experience. Gave the place 2 stars because the...
Read moreOur company placed a large order. Naturally they forgot my sandwich to be delivered and told us they can make it for pick up or refund the order. We paid for delivery yet their answer to their mistake is we out source our deliveries so there’s nothing we can do. That’s cool. I don’t ever need to spend another dime at Jersey Mike’s either and I won’t. If you’re that incompetent that you don’t double check your delivery orders before leaving the restaurant to avoid mistakes then maybe you should retrain your staff to maybe take one ounce of pride in what they do. I guess it’s too difficult to look at a ticket and say, let’s see 10 subs. Does the bag contain 10 subs? No it’s only 9, let’s see what’s missing. Busy or not 20 secs of ones time to count or verify isn’t that difficult. I guarantee it’s a...
