Review 5-27-2021: So after our first review, we gave Pepperoni Grill another try. After talking to the manager, as I alluded to in my first review, it was a bad day. Their oven have broken. Nevertheless this time we gave it a second chance, this is America after all. Let me start by saying NIGHT and DAY. This time we expanded our appetites as we tried more than pizza. We got the pepperoni pizza, pepperoni sticks, Penne a la Vodka, and the Chicken Francese. The pizza was what so many great reviews raved about and what their rating represented. The pizza was perfectly cooked, large slices, and hard to stop eating, so much so that I had to force myself to make space for the pasta dishes we purchased. We ordered the Chicken Francese with fettuccine and the portion was larger than our previous favorite Italian restaurant and good thing because as tender and perfectly cooked as the Chicken is, you don't want it to ever end. The Penne A La Vodka will have to wait for tomorrow as I've filled myself with delicious foods, but I say all this to say that I'm glad we circled back around sooner than later. Pepperoni Grill has another family sold by their food that will be coming back on weekends nights for hopefully years to come.
Reviewed 5-21-2021: Our local favorite pizza restaurant switched owners and we needed to find a new pizza place closer to where we now live. We've been meaning to try this place, so this was the perfect opportunity on a Friday night. It always give me cause to worry when any restaurant has a menu as huge as a Cheesecake Factory, because when you have so many items quality can get lost. Nevertheless, we tried it. The food was on time, customer service was great. We ordered pickup. They said it'd be ready in 20 minutes and it was right on. Unfortunately the pizza as another review alluded to was underwhelming. When you spend 40 bucks for a large cheese and pepperoni with a pretty good 4.3 restaurant rating on Google, you expect more than a notch above what felt like Hungry Howies. The pizza was chewy, bland sauce, and not enough sauce on it. I'm sure not all pizzas are burnt as you could taste it in every bite of our cheese pizza because the pepperoni wasn't and reviews are fairly good. We just happen to get a bad batch maybe during a busy time. Nevertheless we were disappointed. We'll try other items on this menu perhaps and maybe give them another chance down the line, but for now, it's on to the next local...
Read moreNestled in Coral Springs, Pepperoni Grill is the kind of local pizzeria that feels like home from the moment you step inside. It’s unpretentious, cozy, and the food is exactly what you want when you’re craving a classic Italian-American meal.
The Vibe: Pepperoni Grill has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual night out or a quick bite with family. The decor is simple and charming, with checkered tablecloths and vintage pizza posters that give it that authentic neighborhood pizzeria feel. It’s the kind of place where you can walk in, order your usual, and know you’re in for a satisfying meal.
The Food: The food is where Pepperoni Grill truly shines. The pizza, as you’d expect from the name, is top-notch. The crust is just right—crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, with a generous amount of gooey cheese and flavorful toppings. The pepperoni, of course, is a highlight, but they offer a variety of other toppings that are equally delicious. I also tried the garlic knots, which were soft, buttery, and bursting with garlic flavor—perfect for dipping in their rich marinara sauce. Their menu isn’t limited to pizza; the pasta dishes are hearty and well-seasoned, with the chicken parmesan being a standout.
The Service: Service at Pepperoni Grill is friendly and efficient. The staff is always welcoming, making sure you feel at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the service is consistently quick and attentive. They’re also great with special requests, ensuring your meal is exactly how you like it.

Read moreWe arrived just after opening on a Sunday - there was one couple with their two kids in the restaurant and my son and I. It is self seating so we picked a table and the waiter came to us a little bit later. We started off disappointed because we tried to order the calamari and asked for just the rings which most restaurants accommodate but they refused - then we tried to order the tour of Italy but asked if we can get penne instead of the stuffed shells - no substitutions allowed for that dish. Fine - no calamari and stuffed shells that might get wasted but I already promised my son the tour of Italy so we got him the tour of Italy. We improvised and shared a slice of pizza as an appetizer. The portions were huge. The meal cake with soup of salad we both got soup - my son got creamy chicken soup which was delicious as it wasn’t thick it was more brothy. I got pasta fagiole which was also good. The pizza was good too - crispy bottoms thin pliable crust but nice and soft on top. The tour of Italy came and all three items were on the plate and the sauce was ladled on top then covered in mozzarella cheese - couldn’t tell which was which on the plate but we dug in and were pleasantly surprised with the stuffed shells. The eggplant was a bit dry - generous portion of layers of breaded eggplant topped with sauce and cheese. The baked ziti was disappointing. A wad of ziti plopped on the plate drowning in sauce then covered with cheese. The sauce was overbearing on the ziti and lacking in the eggplant lol! The sauce: their sauce is tasty and hearty but it down have that “made from scratch” taste to it so I don’t think it is homemade. It is not watery and in no way light! More is a Sicilian flare. Overall we were satisfied. Yes we will come back if we are in the area and we are hungry but no, unfortunately, this is not a place that we will make a special trip to come here. We’ve found another Italian place off Coral Ridge Drive and that place we will definitely make a special trip for. Nice place to grab some decent food and GREAT...
