DYANS KITCHEN — Restaurant in Coral Springs

This was my first time eating here i will never go back. We did have a bit of a big party of 8 so we made a reservation for 11:30. They did let us know it would be closer to 11:45 when we got there. That didn't happen. They explained that a party was opening up gifts and went longer than expected. We said no problem. We finally were sat around 12:00 The waitress comes around to take drink orders. She is very rude and short with us. She walks away fast leaving my youngest son without a drink order. We"re like alright its fine we'll catch her on her way back. She brings the drinks back throws the straws on the table starts walking away fast. I say excuse me, but she doesn't hear me. My oldest son says excuse me. She spins around with the angriest face. He points to his brother and says "he didnt order his drink" she very rudley snaps "okay so order". My youngest doesn't hear her. She then snaps at him louder "so order what do you want". We are waiting to order food. A different waitress comes to take our food order. She was a little more personable. We order our food, and wait. We watch and wait and wait and wait. The nicer waitress comes over and apologizes for the wait telling us the kitchen was backed up.we say no problem we understand. Then we notice every single table that arrived after us is being served. We have now been here close to an hour waiting for food. We are making the best of it because we're here with family from out of town. It's now approaching over an hour. Tables that arrived after us have eaten and left.The table in front of us has more people than we do, they arrived after us and they have their food. Nobody has come to our table (except for the bus boys reffiling coffe). A few of us ordered a water with our coffee that never came out. We really want this water at this point. Flag down the first woman that took our drink orders more than an hour ago for a couple of glasses of water. Same reaction just anger. Water put on the table straws thrown down walk away. Food starts to finally come out. Almost all of the plates are cold. My older sons food doesn't come out at all. They forgot that as well. A few people at the table ordered a side of bacon. That did not come out either. When we asked about that the waitress flips through to look at the ticket (again from over a hour ago) to see if it was there, it was. The rest of the food finally comes out. I cannot really say if the food was good or bad at this point because it was cold. We eat and enjoy the rest of our time together. Nobody comes over at all to check on us until the check but at this point we are just expecting that. At the end of this whole ordeal I stand up to use the bathroom and my shoes are sticking to the floor I look under the table. There is a whole pack of pancake syrup smashed on the floor under our table. I wish this experience was better...

What happened to all the reviews?? Looks like they erased all their previous reviews which were a lot. There is no way there are only 6 now lol. The food is so hit or miss here depending on what you order. Their meat is low quality for sure. You’ll see if you order their bacon or sausage. They even look weird and the texture is rough. The pancakes have great flavor but are SUPER rubbery. I’ve had the avocado toast, ruben & eggs benedict here which were good but sometimes the pastrami can be fatty. The iced coffee taste like dirt & the service here is about as slow as it gets. It never fails…It’s not until AT LEAST 10 mins later that your server will come over. Probably understaffed. The servers are all friendly & get the orders right just super slow & your lucky if they come back after your food has been dropped off until it’s time for them to drop off your check. So good luck getting something you need after your food hits the table. I have tried this place too many times since it’s right up the street from our house but I’m done settling. Especially for their prices. This place isn’t the worst place I have ever eaten at because there are some good things on the menu but unfortunately the overall experience & quality of food products they use just doesn’t make me wanna come back anymore. This was our go to place for breakfast up until yesterday morning. In the past 4 visits we have had 3 bad meals. Like really bad. Yesterday there were 3 of us and we sat outside. My food came and my eggs were cold and you know there is nothing worse than cold eggs. The last 2 times this happened I simply ate them and dealt with it. Not this time, I sent back the eggs and the waitress took the entire plate. A few minutes later she brings it back with fresh eggs and says very nicely I also made you fresh toast to go with that. That was really kind of her until I picked up the toast and it folded over like a soggy leaf, The "toast was not toast" but actually just white and hot. It would appear that something has changed at our former fav place for breakfast. Like serving diet cokes in a can that have long expired, because the small things add up really quickly into larger things. Couple weeks ago their were 6 of us and 2 of the meals were cold. Appears the cook cannot handle more than one or two meals at a time. Not entorely sure just know If I wanted a bad cold breakfast I could make that very easily and cheaper for myself at home. Not going to go back...
