This is the greatest art supply store around. My daughter is a college art major and this store has everything she needs. They stock the supplies professional artists need as well as more casual arts and crafts. No matter what you like to create you can find the right supplies here. You can find yarn, material, beads, paint and brushes, canvas, clay, cake decorating tools, and just about anything else you can think of to create your masterpiece. You can start a project from scratch or purchase a ready made kit. The options are endless.
In addition to art supplies they have beautiful seasonal home decorations. Right now you can purchase items from Halloween through Christmas. The displays they set up in the middle of the aisles are eye candy. Besides the holiday items they have all kinds of every day decor. Candles, frames, floral, pictures, and various knickknacks are just some of the items you can decorate your home with. if you need a birthday or hostess gift this is the place to go. They truly have something for everyone.
Other items you can purchase include party decorations, picture frames, baskets, and and even small furniture. If you can create with it or decorate with it chances are they have what you are looking for. They even offer custom framing.
There are a few important things to note. They are a Christian company so they are closed every Sunday all day. If you visit their website you can find a 40% coupon of any one item. You can just show the person checking you out the coupon code on your phone. Most items have a sale going on anywhere from 30 -50% off making the items affordable. I have found Hobby Lobby to have the best stocked selection of artist supplies out of all of the area art stores. In addition they can carry a lot of unique home decor items that you won't see anywhere else. This is a fun store to browse as...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at Hobby Lobby. I made a $400 purchase previously, but when they tried to print my receipt, the system failed, and I never received it. Now, I came back to return a box of lights that had missing parts, and unfortunately, I didnât have my ID with me this time. I understand that having an ID is important, but I misplaced mine and need to locate it. Additionally, I forgot the card I used to make the purchase.
The manager, who recognized me and confirmed she remembered the receipt issue, initially assured me that the return could be processed. After waiting in a very long line, the cashier informed me they couldnât proceed without my ID. To make matters worse, the cashier lectured me about how I should always have my ID, going so far as to suggest that I would have problems with law enforcement if I didnât carry it. Frankly, this was unprofessional and condescending.
After all this, the staff refused to help me, despite the managerâs acknowledgment of the prior issue with the receipt. I left feeling humiliated and disappointed by the poor customer service. The lack of accountability for their own systemâs failure and the rude behavior from the cashier were unacceptable. I expected better from a store Iâve spent so much money at. This experience has made me reconsider shopping at Hobby Lobby...
Read moreTerrible customer service. I went to the Coral Springs store to purchase a small floral arrangement for my daughterâs birthday. After purchasing the item I went home to see if my daughter liked what I had picked. She liked the item so I decided to purchase more to decorate her party. After waiting in line for more than 15 minutes, I got to the cashier and the cashier saw the amount of items on my basket and told me that the same floral arrangement that I had purchased an hour earlier were not the same price I had paid. She proceeded to say that she had made aâmistakeâ and was not going to sell me the items for the price I had paid an hour earlier. I asked to speak to someone and that is when another âassociateâwithout even knowing what had transpired, told me right off the bat that âthey were not going to sell me the itemsâ I requested to speak to the manager and that is when I ended speaking to the most rudest manager by the name of Warington. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Did not even want to hear what I had to say and treated me like I was some type of scammer trying to purchase more of the items I had purchased earlier. I will definitely NOT be going to that...
