Diamond in the ruff! This place was amazing. We happened upon it, leaving Hough High School for the 3rd and 4th round of 4A state wrestling. We walked into a line at the counter. It's always a good sign. We didn't even realize the amazing Greek restaurant we found. The menu had all your Greek favorites and was surprised by some fish, shrimp, and hushpuppy choices. The chicken pita contained juicy cut-up chicken pieces and some of the softess warm, chewy pita bread topped with lettuce, tomato, tzatiki, and feta. The gyro my husband ordered looked just as good. My son got a hamburger and his friend a grilled chicken sandwich on toast. All the food was hot and fresh. Service was spectacular as each guest was greeted and even shared some conversation. Do not order from here, especially from their online ordering!! Food is below average and over priced. Ordered from the Mooresville location on there website via toast tab, go all the way there only to find out they're closed on Saturday at the Mooresville location. Google and toast (online ordering partner) say they're still open on Sat. so my order was accepted and my card was charged. Call their Cornelius location and the guy was very rude almost immediately, didn't apologize for THEIR mistake and refused to cancel my order or give me a refund only saying "come to Cornelius and we'll make it for you" and "what do you want me to do about it?" Like he couldnt just cancel it and refund my card like I asked him to. Horrible way to treat customers and do business. Now I have to dispute it with my credit card company just to get a refund. The Mrs. and I stopped in for our first visit for lunch based on all the great reviews. Double hamburger and gyro sandwich we're good, but unremarkable. As a military retiree and card holder, I asked older fella at register if they offered a military discount. He seemed offended that I asked and stated that their food is already very cheap so no discounts. The prices of the items on their menu are average, but definitely not cheap. The Mrs. asked for a cup of tap water when we ordered and we were charged 60 cents for the small cup which was a surprise. Our table hadn't been bused and was filthy.
