Great NorthWest Ice Cream Company — Restaurant in Cornelius

This round it was sub par, two of the flavors had the icey crystal refrozen issues.... Not sure how or why, I could guess maybe return buckets from last weeks outdoor fair. I can understand not wanting to waste or toss but when we pay for premium ice cream..... Do not hesitate to support this establishment. I have talked with the owner and his zeal for his ice cream creations are as good as the over marketed mega 'big guy' in Portland. The current Hood River strawberry is superb, smooth and creamy beyond reproach. Possibly even better than a fresh berry, since the cream is already commingled and one doesn't have to stop for a container of cream at Freddie's.

They have good ice cream but overpriced to say the least. The person helping me wasn't enthusiastic and just felt like I was a bother.

Second edit: It's not a flyby review. Changed it to one star because of how you respond to criticism. Second, if a family of 4 wants 4 shakes that's $48 dollars and you ask for a tip. Way too much money. You do not compete with other desert shops. I can go anywhere else with better options and get that all without paying an arm and a leg because you blended my shake.

Already told people I work with about your prices and they thought it was outrageous as well. Good luck bud and I'm sure you won't resist...

Really good ice cream, easily in the top 3 of mint ice cream I've ever had. Waffle cone was good as well. Normally the cone to me is just a vehicle for the ice cream, but it had a good flavor and texture. Price seemed good for the quality.

Only issue (And I'm not docking a star for it, the ice cream was that good) was that the guy behind the counter seemed really stand-offish. It seemed like I had greatly offended him at some point in the interaction or something, because most my questions were met with very short and terse responses. When I wanted to get a topping he didn't seem interested and rather just walked away into the back. Dunno if it was personal or if that's just how they operate in general, but it felt a bit off putting.
