We were obviously told a false story, see attached images for why they received a 92.5 ..

Food was okay- it was slow.
I noticed Drive Thru that the Health Department Rating was "92.5".
I asked why they had received said score because on Good authority we try not to eat anywhere rated less than a 93.
The shift manager came up and happily answered that the " new manager", described as an older gentleman stuck in his ways less than appropriate ways, intentionally violated the rules of the Health Department by inserting a wrapper from a sandwich in the bottom of the refrigerated cheese container (apparently he didn't like cheese to stick to the bottom). He also apparently was taught that this is a violation and was warned by said shift manager and others employees as well.
Notably, the shift manager alleged that the new store manager had worked for her in the past at a previous employer.
According to her account, he believes , in his own words that "woman can't teach" a man anything.
I have no reason to believe this is true other that the shift manager's unanswered allegations.
She also said the Health Department was called because someone "didn't like" the above referenced restaurant manager - and called them because they knew he was going to lose those 5 points.
Food was good.
Service and explanation kept us from pulling off and otherwise presuming health violations and unsanitary environments were common -- which would likely have prevented us from ever returning.

Read moreAround 10:55am, July 4, 2020. I did 2 mobile orders for Wendy's in Cornelius NC and went to pickup. I drove 7 miles from where I now live (Mooresville NC) with 2 Wendy's location because I lived in Cornelius for over 10 years and was more familiar with that location. The guy at the drive tru sounded like he was asleep, but no worries, I drove to the window. I told him I do not want ice in the pink lemonade on the order and to see this man throw that drink in the trash like it was a bother was alarming. If he had thrown it any harder the cup would've pierced the garbage can. My wife asked for a manager only to be told he was the manager on duty. He was rude, unpleasant and doesn't need to be serving customers and training staff. The mobile order was all kids food, so we drove another few miles to the next exit to Chick-fil-A and bought food for me and my wife there. Read moreWent to pick up a mobile order for my mother at about 10:00 (says there open till two) when I got there the drive thru was closed so I tried calling with no answer 🙃 I then went up to the door because there were people inside and knocked and a woman came out and said “we’ve been closed for an hour 😡” then I asked how I can get my money back she said “call corporate! 😡” I said they shouldn’t say there open till 2 if there not then she just said “WERE CLOSED 🤬🤬🤬” and closed the door in my face. I can definitely understand staffing issues because I work a customer service job and have definitely been there 😭 if she would of simply APOLOGIZED for the inconvenience then all would be fine 😌 but she had to be rude and slam doors and act like it’s my that they didn’t say there closed before I placed the order 😭 idk who she is but I highly doubt this is the first experience so I hope she finds a new job cause customer service ain’t her thing 😭 please get it together...
