Alberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Corona

My brother, mom, and myself were STARVING when we came in just past 10pm. There was almost nothing else open at the time so before trying the food, I half expected to be disappointed just because fast food chains have jaded me. I was wrong. Walked in and it smelled delicious! We decided to try their mini taco plate, machaca torta, and California burrito. The taco plate comes with 5 street-style tacos. These were ok, loaded with meat, a bit on the dry side, but no soggy or greasy tortillas. My torta was good but didn't quite hit the spot, partly my fault because I didn't know what "machaca" was and even tho I did ask the guy taking our order, I can't really dock points for that. Now, my brother's California burrito was AWESOME. It had what looked like Asada, cheese, fries and maybe some veggies? Lol, not 100% sure but each mouthful (I stole a couple) was delicious. Everything tasted better with their salsas. Portions are pretty big, so definitely work up an appetite before visiting this place! No 5 stars because it could be better, but it's great for filling the tank and enjoying it too. I'm glad it's open late (1am) and a 5 minute drive...

The food is great 5 stars for the cook! However ZERO stars for the lady in the drive thru, i go once a week and she is super rude as if it was my fault that she hates her job. This really dissapoints me because i been going to the same albertos for a long time and i have never been so uncomfortable ordering food. I ask her for the extras (lemon, salsa, forks ) and she just puts a mad face on shuts the window while im talking and give no answer, she does give me the stuff i ask for but in a very rude disrespectful way. I go here quite often, especially since my husband works at Honda Cars of Corona. We always get the chorizo burrito and it always tastes amazing! So this morning I went to get my husband and his coworker one and I was looking at my receipt and was a little confused about what the lady charged me so I decided to ask her to get clarification and let me tell you, she was so rude! She instantly got defensive and started giving me an attitude. I was shocked on how she was acting and stated that all I was doing was asking a question.
