One of the best bean and cheese burritos in the game belongs to @Miguel's Jr so I had to try their sit down, full service restaurant: Miguel's California Mexican Cocina in Corona, CA. It feels different in the restaurant, sitting outside with a beautiful view of the lake, or inside with all the homages to the Miguel's Jr family history, place is absolutely must try if you're in the area or driving through. Now back to the food: The Bean and Cheese is in top form here. Great tortilla, unmatched lard-y flavorful beans with just the right amount of sticky icky to em, great cheese and salsas that need to be on everything. Also last time I came we ordered their molcajete and it was definitely something I wanted the rest of the gang to try. We ordered up the mixed grill with chicken, steak, shrimp, queso panela and nopales (cactussss). Outside of the bean and cheese, it's now my go-to dish here cause it's so much delicious protein and it gets rolled to your table like bottle service 😭😮‍💨❤️🥰💪🏽 I'll get a full video of it soon /w @Marc Kharrat and @Food With Bros ! Where y'all think this burrito will land on the Top 100 Bean and Cheese Burrito list?! Where should I go next 🤷 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Expecting to dine at Taps Fishhouse only to find it has since closed, we noticed Miguel’s in the back. We didn’t expect to eat Mexican food this day, but have dined at Miguel’s, under a different mantra, so we said FINE!!! First thing we noticed was the very limited menu options for this lunch time opportunity. Next thing we noticed was several tables had ordered the Flautas. Of course we noticed the Flautas AFTER we just ordered. We were looking for something delicious, so opted for the decent Albondigas soup and the just OK Chili Relleno with very nothing flavored shredded beef taco plate that came with rice and . . . wait, where are the beans? The plate was tabled by the runner without the beans. The server brought them out after we were almost done with our meal. Service was a less than urgent. We also were missing a napkin roll we noticed after the chips and salsa we brought out. Our server showed up with the utensils just before our entree was delivered. This place seemed to be popular by the locals or other regular customers. The service staff seemed to interact with certain customers and also facilitated certain tables those customers were used to sitting at. Hmmm. Bottom line. It’s not the Miguel’s we expected and certainly not the same quality of establishment. Dicks

It was a perfect venue to meet up friends and kick off the new years. Went for lunch on New Years Day and had a satisfying experience. Food, drinks ,service, and atmosphere all were great. We ordered a bunch of margaritas, and all of them were excellent. Food wise, we tried the Spinach Enchiladas, Mario Enchiladas, Tacos, and the Chicken Mole. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. The only critique I have is that they must find a way to spice up individual dishes.....it just goes a long way to show the skill of the kitchen staff when they take the easy way out and just grill up some peppers on your request to spice up a dish. It is not the same as eating a spicy dish. Service wise...full points to our server, Ronnie, for taking excellent care, suggesting good drinks and alternatives for the vegetarians on our table. All in all, a good experience.

I stopped in this evening for an early dinner with my step dad. When we sat down we ordered nachos and 2 waters to start. I asked the server if the nachos had guacamole because I have a severe allergy to avocado. When I received my water, the glass was filthy with guacamole smeared down the side of it. It was definitely a dirty glass that had been reused and really, the entire side of the glass was smeared with crushed on avocado like it hadn’t been washed at all. I pointed it out to the gentleman who brought us chips and he took it away immediately. At that point the server brought a new water and I had asked him if he saw the glass because it was not ok. It was not only dirty but caked on with a food that causes me to have anaphylactic reactions. My hand must have touched it and I touched my mouth because my upper lip ended up swelling and has been irritated for hours. Later in the meal, the server refilled my Dr. Pepper and he had filled it with Pepsi instead. This would not have bothered me if he had not handled the dirty glass situation poorly and had sincerely apologized. When we needed the check, my step dad found the server sitting at a table inside with a coworker. The food was amazing and the host was very nice, as well as a beautiful atmosphere. But the server’s performance was not ok. He did not seem to acknowledge at all or feel sorry that he brought me a dirty reused glass with the one food that I am allergic to and had informed him of. I am thankful I did not have more of a reaction other than an irritated swollen lip. But he should have brought this up to management to rectify the situation of the dirty glass because it makes me question the cleanliness of the restaurant and how they manage people with severe allergies. I hope this does not happen to anyone else. I wish I took a picture of the glass because it was...

We won't be returning. It was not super busy by any means day we visited. Once seated it took us over 30 minutes to get our drinks and one drink took 45 minutes. We asked for half the alcohol in a drink and it tasted like doubled the alcohol. (The driver asked for this) We ordered happy hour naked rellano and the cheese and chorizo appetizer. The cheese tasted like it was burnt in the microwave. The rellano was ok but not good either. The appetizers tasting the way they did I was tempted to leave then and I wish we had. Went ahead and ordered dinner (party of 4). The food menu itself is VERY small with a handful of options. The fish tacos were ok but far from great. The street tacos the carnitas was really really good but the rest was just so so. The shredded beef taco tasted just like the Miguel's Jr drive through taco but with a ton of cheese and a little more greasy. The soup was SO watered down it only tasted of the oregano they sprinkled on top with 3 meatballs that weren't great in flavor. Hardly anyone ate their food and everyone went home after spending over$140 and needed to find food at home. Super disappointing. We were there for over two hours simply because it took forever for everything from the waitress to the bar to the kitchen. There's so many other better places to eat and spend your money at than here where you won't leave and have to go find food after visiting. Miguel's Jr drive through would have cost 1/3 or less of the bill and been so...

The service was excellent. The ambiance was great. Optically, you'll think you're in for a great meal. The beans were thin and seemed like canned beans almost blended(??). The rice lacted texture. There were not the typical bits of onion tamatoe, etc. However, I had a great taste because of some spice that I couldn't quite figure out. The tortillas were a big BIG disappointment. I saw the tortilla machine, and I got excited for some awesome tortillas. However, they were cooked too quickly at a too high temperature, so you had dark spots , but the rest was a bit raw and transparent. The enchilada sauce was only adequate. The chips were way thin, and i think maybe out of a bag. The salsa was top-noch. Excellent flavor (I wonder what jar they got that out of). The guacamole. Was just smashed avocado with nothing! No lemon lime onion cilantro, nothing!! The service was excellent! The food was served fast hot and with a great presentation. The flan.... I have no words. They need to go to other restaurants and see how they make flan. When you arrive and sit down and see the service, you prepare yourself for a great mexican food experience. Then, after you get your plate, you feel disappointed. It's a shame because all they need is to fix their food, and they would have...
