Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Corona

We recently visited this restaurant looking forward to a nice meal, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed or simply uninterested. She barely checked in after taking our order, and we wait extended periods of time just to get our bottomless fry refills and drink refills—which never came without asking. Not like a 5 or 10 minute wait more like 20 when we were 1 of 3 people dining. When I asked a couple of simple questions about the menu and timing, she actually snapped at me twice, making us feel like we were bothering her. It was uncomfortable and disappointing, especially when dining out is supposed to be a pleasant experience.What really crossed the line, though, was at the end of the meal. She told my husband and me that if we were going to fill out the survey, we should only mark "highly satisfied" on everything—or not bother doing it at all. That kind of pressure and manipulation is unprofessional and not okay.

The worse experience here tonight. The food was mediocre. I ordered my burger medium, a little pink inside and the one that came to our table was well done and cold. I asked for my bottomless fries EXTRA WELL DONE, I even told Travis, burn it if you can; the one that was served with my burger was soggy. Since the fries was unlimited, I didn't touch the one that was served with my burger; Travis never came back to our table until I was already done with my burger, so I ordered another round of again, VERY WELL DONE FRIES. After a 10-minute wait for my fries "refill," I got a serving of extra soggy fries. The fries was so greasy I didn't even touch it. I set it aside hoping Travis will come to our table again so I can get another "refill." We were already leaving when he tried to come back to our table. The bar area is too big for Travis to have this as his area of responsibility. He should have another person helping with the tables since the bar itself is very busy. Normally, I get great service at Red Robin but not this Valentine's Day. I get it, it does get busy. But why are the tables in front and behind me, gets to have a server who comes by regularly and ask how everything is going? I couldn't get anyone to refill my water. And those bottomless fries, not that day. You know when you go and pay for your meal at your table with that tablet, they ask if you want to do a quick survey. Why did I feel like I couldn't comfortably give my honest opinion about my service for that day? Maybe because while I was answering the survey, one of the workers there told me that his mom always told him that if you didn't have anything nice to say, to not say it all. Just a word of advice to me. I wasn't trying to be rude or ridiculous with my comments. My husband and I ordered drinks that we didn't receive. Food came out great. It was all delicious but no one really came by after that. So yeah, I am definitely ok with not coming back here. I just wanted a nice date...
