Whataburger — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

3/29/22 see below. Sane problems 11/4/21 See below. Same problems. 5/5/21 I ordered a sausage biscuit and large sausage gravy and specified it was for breakfast to go. The picture is what I was served. No spoon and nothing to break the biscuit and sausage up into to pour the gravy over it to eat. Why does Whataburger insist that a sausage biscuit and sausage gravy is a soup and sandwich and somehow different that a plain biscuit and plain gravy that automatically gets served in a container with a spoon? 5/19/21 tried drive thru. Placed same order with one extra sausage biscuit for my daughter. Had to repeatedly correct the faceless voice that I did NOT want a biscuit and gravy and a sausage biscuit. Got to the window and they tried to give me 3 sausage biscuits wrapped like sandwichs and a a small side cup of gravy. Manager was even called and upset with me because I was upset with the incompetence of the service. It isn't just this location. Try placing that original order again ANY what-a-Burger and it will NOT be served as breakfast. It will be served like a soup and sandwich. I only keep trying because the biscuit, the sausage and the gravy are the best available, short of making it myself, in south Texas. They just need to default to BREAKFAST and serve it the same way they would serve a plain...

After several minor issues, this is the last straw. This Whataburger has really gone downhill, in the last year. We had a long day, and I was trying to pick food up quickly, before putting my kids to bed. I saw 4 bag paper bags in the big plastic one, so I thought all our meals were there. In one of the bags, there was a container of gravy and cookie and THAT'S IT! They totally forgot to put my daughter's nuggets and fries in. I didn't have time to go back, before bedtime, so I had to listen to my 3 year old cry, as I tried to get her to eat some of my burger. When I called, the only thing they offered was to give me the nuggets, I paid for. Customer service and making the people you serve used to count for something, but not anymore. Might as well cook at home. At least I know we will get our food. Thus Whataburger has lost...

I ordered through drive through, jr double and small tea. After I paid my tea was handed to me, lid not fully closed and full to the max so obviously it spilled in me and my car. When he came back to give me my burger I asked "can I please have some napkins?" He replied "besides the ones in the bag?" I replied " yes please" he comes back with 3 napkins and then said to my surprise " besides the ones in the bag here's some more napkins". I was surprised and inky said thank you but if he had closed the lid correctly and not fill to the max I wouldn't have asked for more napkins. On top of that there's was 1 napkins in the bag. I went by on 12/17/24 between 1:30pm and 1:50 pm. Employee was a white male with glasses maybe early to mid 20's. I was so upset I didn't get a name but no need to be rude...
