Food: Where to begin. A party of six waited for 1 Hour to have our food. They prepare everything separate so be ready to get some food warm if you ordered multiple type of items or meats on the menu.
The portions are small for tacos. Very small, and where have you ever seen shredded Al Pastor!?, this place!
The Alambre on the menu is a bad excuse for a plate, Hardly any bell pepper or onions, only four tortillas were provided, so many other places packed your plate and give you 10 tortillas that is a plate to share, not an individual order.
A Pampazo with no sour cream, cheese or lettuce and you pick any sauce, is not how Pambazos are made.
Nothing about this food truck is authentic to the City of Mexico. Please just keep passing by. The most authentic thing is the guys voice. Everything on here is sub par. The meat is just regular meat with lots of seasoning to hide low quality. Yes everything is made to order but for a long wait and a hit or miss on how you get an end product is not worth it.
Service: As a party we told this man it was our first time here, how my parents are from Mexico City and he could care less whether or not to keep our business. We told him we came from Long Beach, far from his establishment and he just shrugged. All Americans and Asians were greeted with a “hey friend” or “hola amigo” and Latinos walk up to order and all he said was “what are you taking”.
Even though they ask if your food is for dine in or to go. There is no dine in just a small bar like table on the edge of the truck. You have eat standing up or your car. They should just wrap everything g to go.
Last thing is for the owner is to hire more employees especially on the weekend or your high days. The wait is crazy, you could serve more, wait less and be a lot more involved in the quality of your product and to learn to be way more courteous to...
Read moreWe so loved the freshly made Huarache and tacos. The Nopales are real and freshly made. Al Pastor meat was deli. The 3 salsa salsas are surprisingly flavorful and good. Cross your finger the salsas don’t get changed or water down as some taco trucks do once they get busy. DOWNSIDE is that there’s no place you can eat, no chairs or tables, no aguas frescas, e.g Jamaica, orchata BUT they did have water bottles available for purchase, thank God! Another sad thing is that they don’t have any rábanos (radishes), fried jalapeños or onions on the side of your food order :( bummer for those who love these veggies… I recommend you guys call ahead or you will have to wait at least 30 -45 min for your food, but if you’d like something fast and not fresh try other food trucks…. And I’ll be youd be coming back...
Read moreThis taco truck had some of the best tacos and food I ever had in my life. This seemed to be a family owned business and you could see (and taste) how much effort and work and passion they put into their food. Everyone around me eating different things LOVED it and even joined the long line for seconds. The man and his wife working the truck were extremely friendly and kind. When they found out it was my friend’s birthday and we were surprising her with a cake, they even offered us 50 plates to use when we realized we had...
