I must have passed this place a million times and never stopped but today I decided to stop in and have some lunch and I'm telling you it was the best decision I made all week this is the quintessential hole in the wall food joint okay they got it all going on with great Philly cheesesteak sandwiches I got the large With a order of fries and a drink cost me around 20 bucks totally full I couldn't Eat another bite great value for the money French fries were seasoned and real crispy the bread on the cheesecake sandwich is fresh all ingredients are absolutely fresh and delicious this is a great place to come in for a deli sandwhich they have prostrami which I'm gonna have to try for sure this weekend and they have fountain drinks but they also have very unique Gourmet sodas in the can and bottle so do yourself a favor and stop by for some great food and friendly staff it's right out the 55 freeway And really convenient so if you're in the area stop by grab some food and enjoy yourself. I've lived in San Francisco with the best cooking around, but NOTHING comes close to being the BEST fresh cooked PASTRAMI sandwich than the ones From Philly Cheesesteaks cafe! Fabulous quality meats and style of cooking. French Fries are always hot to the last one. Outdoor patio seating so quaint and cooling, indoor seating, free soda refills, nice bathrooms, but mostly ... wonderful, smiling, humble owners ... on site and available to compliment. This place gives the least amount of meat possible to be considered a sandwich. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with grilled onions and cheese, since that's what the place was known for, the sandwich maybe had 2oz. of meat, the rest was onion and cheese, I went there based on the reviews and pictures. I received about one eighth of the meat that the pictures show. All I could taste was onion and cheese. Their regular cheesesteak comes with mushrooms andbell peppers, obviously that's a bunch of inexpensive fluff.
