I have never met such ignorant people anywhere. Unpleasant staff, they don't say hello, they don't look down on the client as if he had come to a big brand boutique. They ask poor couriers to confirm receipt of the order and look straight into the phone with their eyes, violating human boundaries and straight with a shout with a heavy tone, it's so un-American it seems.... This kind of bottom, first of all, is not very tasty, and secondly, this outlet is worth being closed with such service. I think the staff should remember that we didn't come to their house. And in general, I will definitely come and make a film and submit it to the relevant organizations, so that they check your establishment for compliance with all the norms, including the manner of communication of your staff...... communicate with everyone in a consumerist and especially in a threatening tone!!!! I will post the video on my channel for sure...it's already funny just to watch and in general you have done everything to make your place away from the side.
And just don't send a reply saying "please let us know about this experience", you've already been told!!!!!. That there will soon be a check out in particular of your insolent staff who pry and stare at the phone screen. It's just awful, what about when I order food for myself and pick it up for myself!!!! They look right into the phone too! I have never seen such brash and stupid people at the same time. The staff is young and ignorant, as if you gathered them all from the forest, they are all wild, soon they will be throwing themselves at people. You can't even call them staff, they just recruited them all by advertisement..... It's a pity you didn't see the subtleties, I'll just give them to you soon... and how can't you see who you can fire and who you can keep? Wouldn't you like to turn the cameras...
Read moreThe food was good, it is a Shake Shack and you know what to expect. What ruined the experience for me and why I will NEVER return are the people, or actually one guy. He was walking around the entire time we were waiting for our meal. Then when our food arrives and we had started eating he comes over and starts asking us how everything is, are we enjoying our food. And after we tell him, with food in our mouths everything is good. He want to have a conversation about the query code on the table, and how we can leave a review, and just goes on and on. Why does anyone think that while people are eatting they want to have a conversation with some random stranger/manager. It is bad enough when in a high end restaurant a manger comes over while you are eating and asks if everything is OK. Now a fast food worker want to have a full on conversation while we are eating? What?? We go out to visit with each other and eat. I only want to talk to the staff to order, tell them thank you, and yes, everything great. I never want to have a full on conversation, especially not after my food arrives. Before a little chat may be OK. But Shake Shack Costs Mesa is clueless and more concerned about online reviews then repeat customers. I will NOT be back. There are plenty of fast food burger places that won't interrupted our meal. Long live Five Guys, Burger Lounge, Habit, and...
Read moreIt's interesting seeing all the reviews here mentioning the staff and the great service. I went in today to get a double SmokeShack which is one of my all time favorite burgers. The burger was great, as always. Everything else was average or worse.
The store was an absolute mess. No clean tables inside or out. Fingerprints all over every window in the place. Trash on the floor (there was at least one team member sweeping up the floors).
The counter service was so slow that I had to use the self serve order kiosk. Not a big deal, probably should have used the app before I even arrived. The kiosk says take a number to put on your table and they'll bring it out to you. I went to the patio for the cleanest table I could find and waited. I got a text saying, "Your order is ready! Hang tight, we will bring it out to you shortly." 2 minutes later, no food but someone opened the door and I could hear the girl at the counter yelling my name to come get the food for myself.
After paying a couple pennies less than $24 for a not so large burger, average sized fries and a large iced tea smaller than most places mediums....it was pretty clear that this would likely be my last visit. I'll pay premium prices for premium experiences....this wasn't that. I'll miss the amazing SmokeShack but...
