I came in just looking for some underwear and maybe a new leash for my dog. What I didn’t expect was for my sweet, innocent, fur-coated angel to commit an act of biological warfare in Aisle 3. And by “act,” I mean my dog took a massive shit right there between the sock display and seasonal décor. Not just any shit, mind you - his was the kind of thing that makes you question what exactly dogs are eating when your back is turned.

Before I could even process the olfactory apocalypse, the staff came running like first responders to a disaster zone. One brave soul, Benny, went above and beyond - bare hands. No gloves. No tools. No hesitation. Just man versus nature. It was less “retail associate” and more “mythic hero on a quest,” and for that, Benny deserves both a raise and perhaps some counseling.

After the chaos cleared, I did, in fact, get what I came for, excellent underwear. Comfortable, supportive, and breathable enough that I could have sprinted out in shame without chafing. I also grabbed my dog a nice piece of dog-wear, which, thankfully, is not absorbent enough to be confused with a diaper.

10/10 customer service. Would defecate, I mean,...

Overall a pretty good TJ MAXX/ HomeGoods combo store compared to others I’ve been to. One thing that is lacking at this one is the men’s department. They have lots of accessories and toiletries but are lacking in options for tops. I did score a couple of times on some name brands but you really have to dig to find anything worth while.

The HomeGoods selection is why I come to this location. It is always stocked well, and I’ve never been disappointed in the selection. I would stay clear of their bakeware products, some of the baking sheets are very poor quality and have bent in the oven at high temperatures in past experience so I will spend the extra money and buy more expensive ones elsewhere. Decor selection is amazing, we’ve really transformed our apartment to make it more homey and have spent way too much here - lol. Overall really great store!

One other thing I don’t care for is the need to push their credit card so hard. I get it is the cashiers job, but ask once and don’t ask again. The last 2 months I've checked out since December I’ve been asked not once, but 2-3 times in one transaction to sign up. I would consider it but the discount is not...

Honestly I’ve been rather disappointed. Apparently they decided to “phase out” the kids decor section. I went specifically for kids décor because they always had super unique and fun stuff and in the ENTIRE STORE I found about 5 things even remotely kids. SO disappointing. I get maybe not wanting to devote an entire section but to not even have ANYTHING anymore, super disappointed. ALSO they NEVER have pajamas size 6/7 for girls and their boy toddler section compared to the girls is SAD and so unfair. I’ve went at least 20 when they got “shipments in” and even with it right off the trucks there STILL isn’t any toddler boy or older kids pjs. The employees are always great though and the...
