Hy-Vee Market Grille — Restaurant in Cottage Grove

Just ordered 100$ worth of food for take out and when it was delivered each box was missing 1-2 items, the special requests were not fulfilled, food was cold and floppy absolutely made me lose my appetite. None of us want to eat whatever the heck this slop is. Was trying to get a special treat for my family that's been on lockdown and get this. Utterly disappointed. -5 stars Missing items: 3 orders of bacon Toast was stale bread Kids pancakes came without it's sides 1lg Sprite Burger combo missing top half of bun Fries were rubbery, cold and stale Breakfast combo missing items- (bacon/cheese for eggs) Eggs on breakfast combo cold and slimy along with the hash browns- entire breakfast combo was just trash Missing sauce for toasted ravioli Three pieces of fruit for the 2.99 fruit side. Called and did not receive a refund, was spoken to extremely rude and unprofessional. Offered to come pick up my missing items and was told no. STAY AWAY...

Food is good, service is awful. The breakfast buffet is nice. We never got refills on drinks when asked. We had a 30 minute wait to get 1 mimosa for the unlimited mimosa bar and when asked to get another it never showed up. Went up to the bar to ask about it and we're directed back to our server who was largely absent from our table to ask the manager questions, meanwhile 3 managers passed right by our table. 2 people asked for refills on unlimited bloodies and were waiting an hour only to never get a refill. One member of our party had things added to his bill he didn't order. Another member of our party didn't get everything she ordered. I have been here 3 times. The first time there were 4 of us and it too 40 minutes to get the food to the table. Today there was 2 of us for lunch and it to over 20 mins to get our food. Once we brought it to our sever, the manager came out and told us our food was ready, but they were waiting on the sushi. Well dah...bring out what was ready and then the sushi when ready. We were told the wait time on the sushi was so long because the order was before ours was an order for 10. Today sushi was half price, but they didnt have the staff to cover whatever "rush" they had. All three times the kitchen staff was blamed because the Restaurant was so busy, from what we could see, it wasn't very busy at all. All 3 times it was blamed on being short on staff.
