I had a horrible experience at Papa Murphy's. I ordered a pizza and when my husband returned home we had received two wrong pizzas. I called the store and the manager was friendly and said she put two pizzas on credit for us for another time. I called again, about a month later, to order two more pizzas and it was a huge hassle. The girl (who said her name was Rachel, and she was the manager), did say she would give us the two pizzas. Great - problem solved. My husband gets home and we realize one pizza is incorrect. I call back the store and "Rachel" says to me, that is not true, I watched them make the pizza and watched your husband pick it up. I asked her if she wanted me to bring the pizza back to show her. She was rude. My husband and I did return to the store, where we were given the run around that there was no manager named "Rachel" and the manager in charge at the time (Friday, 2/7/15) was "Janson". He got a pizza from the counter and said, Oh, sorry, I guess we gave you the wrong the pizza. I am offended that I was accused of being a liar. Then to return to the store and be told there is no "Rachel" and we got the run around about the name of "Janson" who was at the counter. It was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience and I certainly expect a call from a...
Read moreI very much enjoy the local Papa Murphy's, we probably get a couple pizzas a month. But there is a persistent problem with the site, and it gets worse by the year. I have no problem with young people working, I applaud it, but they need supervision. high school kids managing high school kids is not a great recipe for success. Anyway, for about the 6th time this year I ordered the pizza I like with extra sausage, add pepperoni. This is the Tuscan chicken thin crust. I make sure I emphasize "thin crust" when I order or I will get the regular crust, even though it is supposed to be thin per the menu. I have gotten regular crust multiple times with this pizza. Last night my "extra sausage" turned into no sausage, but ground beef, and they completely forgot the pepperoni. This happens far to often here. I was the only one in the store waiting for a pizza and it still took almost 15 minutes for this to get done. I didn't feel like waiting another 10 minutes to have them re-do it, and I should not have to point out obvious mistakes. They have the order in their hand as they are making it!! I just think these kids need more or better training, and adult managing. The product is good, but the attention to detail is lacking. if I'm paying $25 for a pizza, it NEEDS...
Read moreWe went somewhere else before hand at 7:45 and and they said sorry we are closed even though they closed at 8. We then went to papa murphies at 7:58 and Lauren happily took our order even though the store closes at 8. I have been to so many restaurants recently where they close 15-20 min early. I was so impressed with Lauren and her willingness to serve us up until that last minute even while we were in the store past close. If I ran a restaurant I’d want Lauren to be a manager. I will be coming back just because of the service...
