I try not to give places bad reviews if I have any positive experiences, but lately, this place has been all bad. The Morning Crew is incapable of helping with small issues without snarky comments (and I go to Starbucks 2-3x a Day). This is NOT the only issue I’ve had in the last week, and I am a low maintenance customer. My child and I go here every morning, and every day she gets the same thing, a chocolate milk and a raccoon cake pop. They’ve been out of chocolate milk, so I told my daughter ahead of time we wouldn’t be getting the milk today (noting, 2 of the employees were nice enough to offer to make her a cup of it, and were pleasant, however another gave us an unwelcome surprise -on Friday- by swapping it for white without asking or warning first, and anyone who has Ever drank something while expecting anything else, let alone while 1/2 asleep, knows how awful that feeling is, even if it’s something that’s otherwise alright).
Today, the barista tells me they’re out of the raccoon cake pops “would you like a vanilla one instead, it’s basically the same thing?” I say “this is for a child, let me ask her” and ask my daughter if she wants a chocolate one, a pink one, or a white one, my child’s upset and says none of them, so I ask the barista “is it okay if we pull around so you can show her the different ones and she can choose?” She replies “they’re just brown, pink, or white circles.” And I tell her “I understand that, but this is for a deaf child, she’s very visual, it might help her decide” she then (very frustratedly) snaps back “they’re just balls. I don’t understand what’s so hard about that.” I almost told her to just cancel the order with intentions of leaving, because it costs nothing to be kind and I had done nothing to deserve attitude, but instead told her “I’m aware what they look like, but clearly my kid is not.” The barista finally goes “ughh, okay. Pull around” and finally lets my kid see the in-stock options and decide. (My logic was - if we pull around, this is a 1 minute interaction, instead of a potential 20 minute explanation in the drive through, while being rained on, that would hold up their entire line, since my kid wasn’t giving me an answer, this was total maybe 5.. but I genuinely don’t understand why the barista got defensive and treated me like I was lacking common sense - instead of just trying to help a child. Every adult knows what cake pops look like, especially one that spends several hundred at Starbucks every week, but if you’re not willing to help your regulars, you’re in the wrong industry. Even if she thought my request was unusual or ridiculous, she could’ve asked that we come in, asked that I look on their app, or just.. said yes and let me pull around without all the unnecessary attitude)
Apparently I also left a 3 star review a 10 years ago, oh how times have -not even- changed, here’s that: My drink was great; In fact, I'm drinking it as a type. However, I didn't recieve change OR a receipt. Usually I always let the barista keep my change, but I find it incredibly rude that she didn't even offer it to me. If it helps, the girl who took my order in the drive through was named Chelsea. With another Starbucks across the street, I more than likely won't be...
Read moreI have been coming to this Starbucks location for several years. I would say that the customer service has been slowly going down hill, but today took the cake. My husband and I went in with two of our daughters. My oldest is lactose intolerant, and was reading the food ingredients of the prepackaged food items in the cooler. The barista stood at the register and kept speaking over her headset, in an annoyed tone and repeatedly asked us if we were going to order. Another barista came over to the register, I then expressed that I was not happy with the customer service of the other employee. I’m sorry, but I believe that reading a label isn’t putting anyone out of doing their job. I explained that my daughter has an allergy and has to carefully read food items before we purchase them. The more friendly barista then gave us one of our drinks at no charge. I do appreciate her gesture. When my younger daughter’s drink was prepared, they never told us and we sat at our table for several minutes until my husband asked about the drink. Seriously, just go to Target...
Read moreI get the same drink quite regularly throughout the week. It's usually the brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso topped with a layer of lavender cold foam. I usually request a venti in a trenta cup because I like room for more foam. I've never had any issues up until this particular store. One of the employees made my request such a big deal and honestly she brought a lot of attention to the situation which I don't appreciate. I didn't catch her name but she appeared to be a white lady on the thicker side. I find it funny that I've legit never had this issue at the myriad of Starbucks I've placed this same order at. Also, the food is subpar. I had a bacon, sausage, and egg burrito but it had weird textures within it so I tossed it. I realize it wasn't intentional but she also splashed green matcha on me while I was waiting for my order when she was rinsing out a cup. This particular experience definitely makes me not want to come back to this location. 🤦🏿♂️ She wasn't really that warm and...
