I left the Embassy Suites turned left and walked down the sidewalk until I ran into the Butler’s Pantry. The name sparked a certain expectation of service and quality. I walked into the market and it was fully stocked with healthy and lavish lunch items, breakfast starters including bourbon barrel cold brews that were out of this world. There were making for charcuterie boards and every drink for the whole party or just the two of us.
But then... I crossed the beautiful hall to the cafe where I was quickly met and warmly greeted. We discussed the menu and were offered tastings. Every choice we made was met with feedback and knowledge about the menu.
We dined on a huge outdoor patio that is where I now want to bring all my friends and family for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! We were taken care of and our needs anticipated. The staff was personable and polite and showed actually hospitality. We went back every day of our stay and twice on Sunday. Literally.
The Frittata!? The biscuits and gravy- swear to me you’ll never take it off the menu The drinks! Just everything no lie. The food is perfect for what foodies are looking for! Prices are perfect. Everything fresh and thoughtful but not Pretentious.
I just feel like who ever is running this place daily really cares and is about to be the name the food community is boasting about on the river. I want to go back just to be there and enjoy and relax and bring my friends and family
There were outdoor games to play as a family and it was welcoming and fun. Check it out because i definitely experienced quality and service full of...

Butler's Pantry is perfect if you want a sweet treat, a coffee fix, or some decent lunch options. They have addictingly good cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, brownies, pie, and anything else you can think of that a bakery makes. They also have a good selection of locally sourced hand dipped ice cream. For breakfast they have fresh homemade quiches, great parfaits with homemade granola, and "powerbowls" that are loaded with filling ingredients. Their only weakness is that their lunch options are a little pricey and the quantity and quality does not match...
Read moreCovington's little secret! Check out some of the specials for special treats, and it's a quiet place to imbibe while planning world domination. Seriously though, visit on a walking tour of Covington across the Roebling Bridge into Cincinnati. Or visit the flood wall murals immediately adjacent (on the river side of the flood walls)! Now there is even a omnitheater there that the Carnegie has been introducing new acts to! Ample parking (the lot across the street, is validated with purchase) should quell any parking concerns. In can be a little quiet, but don't worry about asking the wait staff or management for suggestions or any questions you may have. They are top notch and...
