Met a friend here who was celebrating a bday - he’d been there before.
The good - the space is definitely cool, lots of eclectic/abstract art. Owner apparently did everything re: style of the space and art - so that’s cool. Music is kinda of house/bass heavy dance type stuff - which was fine for the space and time of day.
The bad - they have a food menu and multiple people with us were planning on eating there. They did not have all of their food available and upon asking what they could order it was a little wild and not clear what they could order. With zero explanation as to why the menu wasn’t available. They ended up getting a shrimp ceviche which looked ok and BBQ sliders which both they stated were ‘fine’. Both of which came with kettle cooked potato chips. *other reviewers have also reported issues with food availability/quality.
Cocktails were just …. fine - there are other cocktail bars where I like the cocktails much better. And they are on the more expensive side compared to other great cocktail bars. Basically overall - it’s overpriced for the food and cocktails IMO.
When I went back in to order a 2nd drink I did hear a bartender tell another bartender they had to stop taking food orders - so clearly something was going on.
This was pretty much between ~7:45 - 10:45pm with very few other customers and by like 10pm there were literally no customers inside - and this was post Reds win and I figured people walking across from Luke Combs would stop in. So doesn’t seem like word of mouth is doing this place any favors.
Honestly - the space is cool looking but I dont see it sticking around with what our experience was and now what I’ve read about others’...
Read moreAtmosphere: The atmosphere is fun and creative. You can tell the owners really put in time and thought to curating a cool experience.
Service: Seems to be only one bartender/server but that could be due to a ramp up period since they just opened. The one they have though is attentive to needs and friendly to chat with.
Food and Drink: The reason for the 3 stars. The first time I went, I ordered a simple margarita and the bartender was not able to make any cocktails that weren’t on the menu. Not sure if it was due to training or if that’s at the direction of the manager/owners. I ended up ordering an espresso martini from the menu and it was delicious! Definitely recommend.
Extremely limited food options for vegetarians. Only salad as an option which is the boring way to opt and not helpful for alcohol consumption. The kid’s menu does have a grilled cheese option and when I tried to order this (and offered to pay a higher price) the kitchen manager refused. I’m no expert but I would think that a bar and restaurant just opening would try to make as much money as possible in the opening days so it was weird being turned away. All in all, wish they had more options or flexibility with the menu.
Leaving this review because I know the grand opening is coming soon and would love to provide as much feedback as possible to keep this...
Read moreThe menu in person is not nearly as extensive as the menu on Google maps. The seating is weird—either barstools with no backs or comfy lounge chairs and a table, no in between. They told us when we got there that the kitchen would be closed for about 20 minutes but reopen (it was 6pm on a Sunday night). We had to ask for menus when we sat down—they didn’t give us a dinner or drink menu. They asked us within minutes of giving us the menu what we wanted to eat—likely rushed because the kitchen was going to close for just a few minutes but then re-open? Idk. The waitress never stopped by to see how we were doing. We had to flag her down instead. We were the only people in the “eatery” and had to ask for the check. It wasn’t just given to us.
I had the flatbread, and the crust was soggy and the cheese was runny, so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. My friend had the BLT but felt that the bread was too toasted/tough.
The aesthetic and facade tells a vastly different story than the service and...
