Have seen adorable things like family photos getting taken and have seen terrible things like a woman nodding out from drug use in her parked car. People are very, very friendly around here. Have struck up many a conversation with strangers. Have listened in on others' simply because I can hear their business despite trying to mind mine. Lots of geese and ducks. Read moreThis is a great park. It is situated on the corner of Riverside Dr. so it's easy to see from a vehicle. There are some historical markers and statues situated at different places in the park. They are all interesting and make for a good read. The park is always shady courteous of all the mature trees. There also seems to be a nice breeze constantly coming off the river. Also featured at the park are benches, a water fountain(1 for drinking and 1 for display) and a dog clean up station.
