This is a nice park - always interesting people around [to say the least]. Yep, people from all walks and trades of life gather here to view the beautiful city skyline. And litter sometimes. Have seen adorable things like family photos getting taken and have seen terrible things like a woman nodding out from drug use in her parked car. People are very, very friendly around here. Have struck up many a conversation with strangers. Have listened in on others' simply because I can hear their business despite trying to mind mine. Lots of geese and ducks. This is a great park. It is situated on the corner of Riverside Dr. so it's easy to see from a vehicle. There are some historical markers and statues situated at different places in the park. They are all interesting and make for a good read. The park is always shady courteous of all the mature trees. There also seems to be a nice breeze constantly coming off the river. Also featured at the park are benches, a water fountain(1 for drinking and 1 for display) and a dog clean up station. The place is great for people watching.
