Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Covington

I'm so very disappointed. Went up to the drive thru, ordered a 3 piece white combo w/ a sweet tea. Cashier took my order and was very nice and friendly . I get my food and leave. I should have known that the cashier was being overly friendly for a reason because of what I'm about to discover when I get home. She knew that she was getting ready to pass off food to me that they needed to get rid of but didn't want to throw away and had been sitting for what looked like days. The first thing that I noticed about my order was there were 3 breast in the box which is unusual when ordering a combo unless you specify that's what you want. I'm thinking ok I really got my money's worth this time because usually they don't give 3 breast, they usually include wings. Then I take a bite of a piece of the chicken, or should I say I tried to take a bite😮. This was the hardest, driest lukewarm piece of chicken that I've ever had from anywhere. All 3 pieces were as hard as rocks and the sweet tea tasted like watered down unsweetened tea. Talking about a disappointment. She deliberately served me food that she knew was not edible. The food wasn't fit for a dog to eat let alone a human. I had to throw all of the food away. Had I not gotten so far from the restaurant I definitely would have taken that food back to them. That is unacceptable and something needs to done about them and any other restaurants serving food that has sat for so long. She should be fired on the spot. This could have been a health risk. I placed a pick up order. I live in conyers and we do like churches occasionally. However, I called to request them to make my order when I get there because I didn't want my food cold. That was a WHOLE PROBLEM. The lady I spoke to had an attitude from the time she answered the phone. She wanted to argue the distance and time frame from my location in conyers she didn't even know before letting the crew know not to bag my order until I got there. When I arrived I went through drive thru and they would not fill my order unless I went in the store. I have placed pick up orders here before and never had to be inconvenienced to get out of my car. I did go in and there was a wait on biscuits. As I watched them pack my order, they did not care if my sides were tipped over and spilling out. Then when I got home, EVERYTHING was sooo cold. It was like they gave me what they already were packing when I was in route to the store and 1 box of biscuits I had looked as if someone had eaten off a half of them and crumbled the rest and the other box was burned and hard but the burned hard biscuits had just came out of the oven. The atmosphere there was very timid and you could feel the tension in the air. This store has no good customer service unless the people in the store knows you. I seen it with my own eyes the lady that packed my order packed someone else's order with care but threw mine in the bag. Ordered here thru grubhub spent almost 70 dollars in total. I ordered two chicken sandwiches, a family meal with two large sides. The chicken was so flavorless no one ate it in my house, it must of literally been fried with no seasoning. They forgot one of my LARGE SIDES to go with my family meal, didn't get my TEA, the biscuits were so hard they could be used as rocks, they forgot one of my chicken sandwiches as well. The other chicken sandwich was partially burned the entire order was a wreck. I will never spend another dime here absolutely disgusting. Everyone who tried a piece of chicken in my home didn't finish it and said it had not a drop of flavor that was careless on your part.
