Dunkin' — Restaurant in Covington

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. …

A few days ago I went to this place and a car broke down in the drive thru. So this is understandably out of their control .. and I was told to please go inside. Ok. Sure. I was trying to buy ONE specific item that I came there for. A power breakfast sandwich. It’s the cleanest option. I work at a gym. I offered to get a couple of coworkers some coffeee while I was there also .. I went Inside , stood in line for about twenty minutes. Waiting patiently. When I got to the counter , I ordered my sandwich and three iced coffees . Cool. Order placed. Waited again another twenty minutes as I watched one after another disgusted customers leaving one guy they COMPLETELY forgot about. .. the people at the counter didn’t even try to keep up the line. So people serving kept asking who needed something. Half the place hadn’t even ordered yet. Eventually I went up to the counter. Standing there with melting iced coffees .. and it was getting later and later. I’d been there about 35 minutes. .. I said. ‘ excuse me …. Can I just get my sandwich. It’s all I’m waiting for ‘. They looked at me like I was the Antichrist and said “ what did you order “. I told them.

AFTER 40 minutes of waiting .. they told me “ oh. We don’t have the flatbread .. what else would you like ?” A refund. Because that’s the ONLY reason I went to that place. The woman at the counter WORKING there said. Yes I’m sorry. Someone walked out because we have no eggs, bla bla bla. They even ran out of ICE that day. .. it was only 10 something am.

Then I left and went to chic fil a … I had to COMPLETELY miss breakfast and order lunch.

Yesterday. I tried again. They had the bread. So I got my sandwich and left happily .. today. AGAIN .. “ I’m sorry. We are out of flatbread “. Thanks for telling me AFTER I’ve sat in the line that is HORRIBLY constructed to trap you and you can’t leave …. Then they asked me to pull forward. No. I’m not. Y’all can let that timer run out while you make me late for work again.. …. The guy at the window then laughs and says “ did y’all hear that?!” And someone inside said “ just close the window on her “

This establishment is VERY POORLY MANAGED ..I’m super patient but I have NO IDEA how you’re still in business. I’ll pay extra and go to Starbucks...

I work not even a mile away from this location. So almost every day I make a stop. They have great service and everyone is so friendly. My ONLY issue is the inconsistency with how the drinks are made. I have two types of beverages I always order. A medium hot hazelnut coffee with a turbo shot (sometimes two turbo shots) and a large ice sweet tea with raspberry shots and some lemon packets. Pretty simple compared to most but they are never made the same. Some times not enough sugar in my coffee like the one I just ordered about 20 minutes ago or not enough raspberry flavor in my tea. I think Dunkin (as they like to be called now) need to have everyone make the drinks the same and not the way the employee would drink it. A simple perfect recipe for all of the beverages. Dunkin hasnt lost a customer but I am looking for more consistency.

Update 10/26/2021 So I had a simple order again a large hazelnut Hot coffee with cream sugar (which was non existent) and 3 espresso shots and a warm blue berry muffin ... And said there was not one once of sugar in the coffee. To be even more exact it tasted like water and the muffin was cold. Thank you again Dunkin for the...

Every single time I come to this location, I order the same exact coffee every single time. So of course I decide I want to get a nice, delicious coffee... same as always, i order my coffee, get it at the drive thru, taste it... instantly terribly bitter... no nothing added to it like I asked. So I asked to have it redone... so I get the same cup back with additives that still don't meet what I asked for. So I once again, as I seem to have to do every single time I go to this particular Dunkin. Have to park my car with my toddler, proceed to take my already twice wrongly made coffee. I then have to tell the person behind the counter at least 4 times how I want my coffee.. then it takes almost 10 minutes standing there waiting to get a coffee.. ( Large energy cold brew, 4 cream, 4 splenda, 2 pumps of sweet vanilla) sounds easy enough right?? Apparently not. I will take my business to the chains that are farther away from now on. Also once I get the finally re made coffee, its definitely not an ENERGY COLD BREW... looks like regular coffee and not even a shot of espresso added like its supposed to be... ...
