The staff was polite and the portions were generous. However, the food was not good and so expensive for being… bad. On all three dishes we ordered (chicken fajitas, fajita burrito, and a tamale/enchilada combo), they put unseasoned tomato sauce (that tasted like those giant government issued school lunch paste) so our meals ALL tasted like they were Mexican married with spaghetti-os- even the chicken fajitas had this sauce dumped on top at the end. So weird and terrible tasting! Also, there is no indication anywhere that they are going to charge you for a kids drink what was $1.95 for about 6 ounces of liquid. The regular house margarita was also $9.95, which perhaps was listed on the drink menu I did not see, but it’s a pretty high price to pay for a very basic, low alcohol drink located in a grocery store strip mall. So for just those three meals (that were mostly left on the table because there was no reason to box up that food), it was $80 (including tip). For first-timers, I would not recommend it unfortunately. The hunt continues for decent Mexican food...
Read moreI walk in, I have to walk up and order, I have no idea, then they have the nerve to ask me for money for a tip afterwards, don't even tell me if they're going to bring my food to me. Don't tell me to choose a table l asked for, and informed her I'm eating there. Also, no shredded cheese in my taco salad, just a few strands you had to search for. No salsa chips, extra 2.00 dollars on already overpriced food, shorting customers, and begging for free money before service is even being rendered. Zero stars. Had to make sure I asked her if she was bringing me my food because she sat someone else's food out to the side to where I could see it as I'm sitting next to a loud screaming TV I had to sit by and stare at her and wonder what was going on next. Shouldn't have paid the tip I gave her and got my chips. I don't know why these places think we're obligated to pay their employees wages all they do is order your food and bring it to you also forgot to give me...
Read moreAwful dog food. It LOOKS great, but is SO BLAND that if I closed my eyes I wouldn't even know what I was eating. All four salsas tasted like water, the best way to differentiate them would probably be by color.
Taco bell sauce had more flavor and we'd know because we had a packet in the car and defaulted to it after being disappointed by everything.
The portions are big but I'm not sure if it matters. I am truly confused by the torta because not a single ingredient in that sandwich was discernable from any other one. Literally couldn't tell the meat from the egg as far as flavor was concerned. I don't even know how that's possible. It's a sandwich. You can usually tell between parts of a sandwich.
Maybe the quality was down because it was 11 am on a Sunday, but...it's so bad I'm not even sure if it's worth coming back to on a weekday to see if...
