This is my first time to make a review on an establishment.
I've gone to this place 3 times already. The 1st 2 visits were fine. Food is not bad but the third visit was not a good experience. We ordered and waited for our food. I ordered an additional fried spring roll but when they served our order, they served fresh spring roll. Since the food was there, I thought of just trying it. When we were almost done eating, the server asked me if we were done with the hoisin sauce. Since we were not anymore using it I just told the server we were done with the sauce. After a few seconds, it came to my mind why would the server ask us if were we finished with the hoisin sauce and we were the only table who was approached by the server. It ws kind of rude since all the tables had their own condiments and they even didnt get the hoisin sauce of the tables that were not occupied. Until I noticed the servers or crew treated our table differently like they just want us to pay and leave. The server just gave me bill and didnt even ask how the service went. I had to ask my son to give the bill back with my card so that we can pay and leave the unpleasant atmosphere. When we left, usually they acknowledge and thank customers to eating at their place but these crew just didn't even care. So, I won't be coming back to this...
Read moreThis was our first visit here, but we will not return. It was the first time for us to meet the parents of our daughter's fiance. We chose this location because it was convenient between everyone's homes and it was large enough for all seven of us and our toddler granddaughter to have ample seating.
His parents ordered two kinds of Pho, and they were both watery and bland tasting.
My wife ordered the Phad Thai and it was a goopy blob of sugary noodles. She could only eat about one third of it, leaving the rest on the plate. (The first time in 35 years of marriage I have seen her not get a take-home box.) Definitely not worth $14!
I had pork teriyaki, which is hard to ruin. It was so-so.
Our daughter had a sandwich which she ate all of and her fiance had a "crunchy noodle" which he said was "okay" but he left part of it on his plate as well.
They brought the items yo our table one by one with the Phad Thai first and the crunchy noodle dish about eight minutes later. By then, the Phad Thai had cooled considerably. It was a good management of the...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this place for 8 years - I moved to Bonney Lake 3 years ago and drove to Covington every week just to eat their pho. However the last few times I’ve gone, the service has been not good, they’ve messed up every order, and the place is extremely dirty. Today I went to Spring Kitchen in Maple Valley and now I will never be returning to House of Pho. Spring Kitchen was so clean, the pho was amazing and full of flavor, and they refill your water quickly and ask how you’re doing. House of Pho never refills your water unless you hunt them down, the place is messy and you can tell they don’t care about how clean their restaurant is, which concerns me on the back room where our food is made... No flavor in the broth, the bean sprouts are always old and gross, dirty silverware and glasses, booths are falling apart, paint is chipped everywhere, and the floor always has nasty stuff on it. After 8 years, I’ve watched this place go down hill fast. I no longer recommend this place unfortunately. Spring Kitchen in Maple Valley and at Kent Station are...
