I don't usually leave reviews but this really just p!ssed me off today; I went in today to do a little shopping and pick up a prescription. I ended up spending about two hours there, about an hour and a half of that being for my prescription. I was in line three different times; the first time, I was told they didn't have it, but I insisted that they should, and the lady helping me did some more digging on her computer and said they would have it to me in 15-20mins. So I go sit down for awhile, cuz I'm done shopping. I get back in line actually a little over 20mins later, and when I get up front I'm now told that they can't give me my prescription because it "doesn't have clear instructions on how to use it" so they are unsure about giving it to me and weren't able to get ahold of my doctor. Mind you, this was a prescription for something I've been using for over a year now, so I definitely know how to use it. BUT, I spend another half hour on hold with my doctor's office, and when my call goes through they say that the prescription has clear instructions and the pharmacy is just being picky because the instructions are slightly different than they were on my last prescription for the same thing. So they say they will rewrite the prescription and send it back. Now, at this point the line has gotten quite long, but I get back in for a THIRD TIME, and when I get up front I just tell them that the prescription is being rewritten and I have other things I need to do, so I'd be back another day. I left without my prescription. Oh, and did I mention that this was my SECOND TIME going to pick it up, because when I went in last week I was told it wasn't ready yet?? So now I need to go back YET AGAIN, and hopefully I will leave with my prescription. I am HIGHLY considering going back to Federal Way Costco, because I never had any issues with them. I switched to Covington because they are now closer to where I live. But what happened today is complete BS. I should not have wasted an hour and a half just because the instructions were slightly different on a prescription that I very well know...
Read moreCostco is our place of choice to replenish the pantry and fridge. I tend to wander around the clothing area because Costco often makes some great exclusive deals with high-end brand names to sell certain styles of their clothing. Instead of paying hundreds for a few shirts I'll pay less than a hundred for several.
The butchers, dairy, and produce area has excellent deals and high-end foods like whole shrimp or fish, and oxtails. My wife uses these in her traditional dishes from the PI. I love the street tacos and sushi. Our Shiba Inu loves the cooked pork ribs.
They carry hard-to-find omega-3 eggs here, as well as great options for health-conscious foodies. Also, great beer and wine selections. One thing I'd like to see here is that unique deli offering that's missing. Let me explain. At some Costco deli's around the US there's a food they offer that you are pleasantly surprised to see. In Alaska, they offered gelato at one Costco for a while, and hand-dipped almond chocolate ice cream bars. I think in Hawaii they offered some coconut ice cream on the half-shell. Things like that. I'd like to see something interesting here.
I can't end this without mentioning the auto service area doing a great job on tire prices and replacement, or the excellent customer service team being able to address most issues with products sold by Costco. I haven't yet had an issue with Costco that they weren't able to address and...
Read moreI have been a Costco customer for more than 20 years. In general, I like the Costco customer service and Costco employeesâ attitude towards customers. However, on July 26, 2021, I experienced just an opposite treatment. I had terrible and unprofessional customer service with very bad attitude towards customers at Covington, WA Costco. I am a 67-year-old retiree was denied buying alcohol because I didnât have ID with me. How is it possible not to see that I am older than 21 years? It looks for me that this Costco employees donât have any common sense and try to abuse their position of power towards their clients. I was denied the service even after Costco manager checked my age using my Costco ID with my photo on computer that proved that I am 67 years old. It was also very bad that Covington Costco employees try to avoid any responsibilities for their behavior or actions by not giving their business cards or their full names. I asked them about this multiple times without any success. They gave me only their first names that are completely useless for their identifications among this Costco employees. I spoke with two managers and one employee. Behavior all of them was very unprofessional, rude and hostile towards me. I was not sure that I had such bad treatment from this Costco employees because I am an immigrant, and my English language is not perfect. Anyway, it was a very...
