I TRIED, I really tried with THIS location but I am done!!! On first experience with this location was average at best. I gave them a pass because they had just opened and I understand that it takes time to adjust and get into a routine. The first time I went, I used the drive thru. The wait time was extensive. Same as it would be if I was waiting to be seated inside the restaurant. I ordered the brisket and was immediately disheartened when I received it. MAYBE it was four pieces of extremely thinned sliced (almost see through) pieces. For as much as a brisket plate cost, it was a total rip off! Never again will I get a brisket plate. Today's visit was the FINAL straw. I'm in the drive through AGAIN and the wait time is extensive as usual. It wasn't even late, maybe 5:00. I ordered a Catfish PLATE. The drive thru attendant said the "sandwich". I corrected her and said No, the PLATE. I placed the rest of my order and waited. When I received order, I was missing sides and sauce. The order was not complicated. Its like she went deaf or mute when she gave me food. There was no "thank you" or anything. Furthermore, my receipt flew away, and I went to go retrieve it. I walked through the take out door and this "person" was standing at the counter. I couldn't tell what it was. It had breast like a woman but a full beard like man so I didn't know whether to say excuse me sir or ma'am or maybe sir/ma'am? Anyway, I'm standing there and IT blatantly ignores me. HELLO? Do you not see me standing right here? I went to another person and let her know my concern. She was the best interaction I've had at this location and it was a mere 10 seconds. Save yourself the headache, attitude and poor customer service and go to any other location but THIS ONE!! YUCK!! Conyers, I'll be back home soon, because the Covington...

"The ADA sets the standard: The federal definition of service dogs is quite specific: "Dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities," according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. "Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA."
"Aspects of the law is that anyone encountering an alleged service animal is only allowed to make "limited inquiries" as to what service the animal is providing. "Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person's disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task," according to the ADA."
So staff please STOP saying you cannot do anything about Pets. You are breaking the law if you allow Pets indoors at restaurants!!! It is unsanitary and in some instances dangerous! The Georgia Department of Public Health prohibits Non-service dogs from dining inside...
Read moreAfter much anticipation of how great the food would be I came in on my birthday 7/20/24. I have going to the Conyers location for years and was never disappointed. However the new Covington location is closer to me so I gave this location a try. The ribs where salty the wait was long for a to go order. There was a couple of customers and I asked to please to my onion rings cooked to order ensuring the quality of freshness. The young lady name was Ava she was training a young man that day. Ava and the trainee both said, "Oh yes your onion rings will be hot 🔥 and fresh. To my surprise and dismay after spending approximately $50 for my meal the warm was moderately warm. I am glad I checked my food before leaving to go home . I found the onion rings soggy and greasy. Ava informed that you guys could re-fry my onion rings however the onion rings would come out the same quality. After hearing this I was in a loss for words. I was a restaurant manager in the past and after hearing this statement the only word befitting for this statement was wow! In term asked to have onion rings taken off my bill and gladly have back for my refund. Not only were the ribs salty but some pieces were burnt. Due to the fact the store was closing shortly as I reached home about 8:30pm I chose to not return to your Covington location that night. As a loyal customer did I do something wrong. I also was looked forward to cornbread with my meal but this location I was informed doesn't offer cornbread. I employ management to please reach out to me. My birthday was ruined by not going to the right...
