I (an athiest) believe these people are God. This is officially my new religion. They have, most sincerely, PERFECTED the art and science of baking. Probably used some magic, too. There aren't enough words to convey how incrediblely delicious their goods are, but they fully trigger the eyes-closed, humming while chewing, involuntary smiling, absolute bliss-state while consuming them. I actually teared up at how 100% flawless the macarons are. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO PERFECT MACARONS?! They NAILED it. Zero notes. Stunning to look at, perfect shape, perfect filling, the tappable shell on the outside yet soft and perfectly moist inside, and they NAIL their flavor profile. The turtle one, for instance, quite literally tasted EXACTLY like Turtle chocolates. I need you to appreciate how difficult that is to achieve- especially in a macaron, and also especially considering that caramel is involved and there are so many ways caramel can end up, so to get an EXACT match in flavor is actually insane and amazing. Their cookies?! First of all, THEY HAVE ORANGE CHOCOLATE COOKIES?!? I've never felt so personally catered to. Orange chocolate is my lifeblood, and it's hard to find in the states (or at least around here). I have NEVER seen it incorporated into a cookie like this. Not even when I was visiting in Scotland where orange chocolate is much, much more common. They did it every single ounce of justice with their cookies. I've never met a cookie I loved more than this. They're thick, soft, and perfectly moist. There's the best thin layer of doughiness right through the middle. Another flawless execution.
They are consistent in their perfection, which really shows their understanding of exactly what they are doing. They're not doing a single thing willy-nilly in there. I'm actually in love. I wish I could build monuments for these people. They deserve to be worshipped and be known in future history for their greatness. Baking is a deeply underapprecited art/science (because it absolutely is both, simultaneously), and nailing it like this deserves all the recognition in the world because it is FAR more difficult than anyone gives it credit for.
They are also super sweet, and the antique Alice in Wonderland theme they have in the shop...
Read moreMy husband and I were looking for a sweet treat and just randomly came across this place. So glad we did. First off….the young lady working there (Emily I think) was extremely welcoming and just overall delightful. Second….its super cute inside. Lots of little trinkets from local thrift stores. Very much an Alice in wonderland theme without being too much of you know what I mean. And Third…..the treats we got were so good!! I seriously like everything we got. I tried a white chocolate strawberry cooking and it was to die for. The cookie had a wonderful soft texture on the inside. We also got 2 of every macaroon. They were excellent. Exactly what you want in a macaroon. That little crisp/pop when you bite into with the soft delicious filling. We highly recommend and we will 100% be back. Can’t wait to...
Read moreIf you're looking for that hole in the wall feel that quickly becomes a staple for your everyday coffee, cookie, or conversation, then look no further than Little Rabbit. Please, please go get a sampler of the macrons. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten. I ate one macron and then went to buy two samplers of 6. Everything I ate had me fiending for the next item. I had to stop myself from essentially buying one of everything in the store. There's a picturesque window through which you can watch the bakers preparing more delicious morsels, creating the feeling of watching someone in the kitchen baking up something special just for you. I can not recommend this place enough.
