The 4 of us showed up without reservations and we were told we could either sit at the bar or outside, even though there were plenty of tables in the restaurant. We chose outside since it was a nice night. We started with Watermelon and Cantelope Martinis. For apps we got Brussels Sprouts and Tuna Tartare...both excellent. For main course we got Heirloom Tomatoes Salad and Grilled Peaches Salad, also delicious. Service was great as well. Only complaint we had was the amount of flies that were outside. Even though they had two fans going, it didn't help. The flies were very hungry and we were waving our hands while eating to keep them away. We let the server know and to let the manager know there were solutions to fixing the issue. Especially when you are forking out over $100 per couple for dinner, who wants to swat flies while eating. If you want to eat here, please make reservations ahead of time. Wish we would have known that.

All around phenomenal. Demonstrates the upper echelon of a culinary experience without feeling overtly pretentious or expensive. The food portions are slightly larger than reasonable which is appreciated as it was filling plus two bites . Price wise it's a little higher than typical for lunch but not egregious, and absolutely worth every cent. I ordered a special which I can highly recommend if it does resurface but I am looking forward to trying their hamburger. Get the strawberry lemonade. Atmosphere wise, loved everything about it. The caboose is cool but a bit far from the counter and bathroom, but very accessible to utensils and all. Three options for seating and all are excellent vibes with lo-fi hip hop on the speakers. Definitely a draw for all ages and I feel like the menu is short, yet versatile and can satisfy almost anyone. Only regret was not getting coffee and a pastry.

From the moment we walked in it is a old timey but modern look to a quality restaurant. We started with the Poutine and maybe the best gravy I've had. Wife had the burger and I had the lasagna. Lasagna perfectly cooked crisp cheese edges that made the whole thing just one perfect bite. Burger has around 10 flavors that you would never expect to go good together and when I say I need to figure out the recipe to make this at home I am serious. We finished the meal with like icebox pie and the pop tart. Whatever the baker did to those desserts even being heated up for service they were absolutely perfect. Amazing texture on the pie, amazing flavor for both and the way the pop tart is crunchy but melts in your mouth is great. For 6 things it wasn't expensive at all and the servers make sure you are taken care of. Also recommend the focaccia bread.

Food, wine, and service are excellent. I gave four stars because of a $10.00 add on to a check (with no explanation or warning) because we asked for several samples of wine to help us decide. Party of four, 1/2 oz sample pours a few each). This may seem like a lot, but we ordered a cocktail each, a few glasses of wine each, and then we bought a bottle of wine to share with dinner. It is not like we were looking for free libations, we bought plenty. My husband and I are foodies and it is normal for us to have a few tastings. Would you spend $10-15 a glass or $50 on a bottle if you did not know what it tasted like? They should have mentioned this after a few tastes at least. It was embarrassing for my mother when looking over her check and her last glass of white rang up for $20 instead of $10. We asked for the owner. The $10.00 was refunded, but in all of our years of fine dining, we have never encountered...
