Royal Palace — Restaurant in Covington

If I could give zero starts I absolutely would!! My husband called ahead to double check prices, lady said $8 and some change if the kids get soda, and $17 and some change for an adult with soda , went in after assuring our price range was met, and my husband and I and our 2 kids went to the bar to get our food. They waited til our boys were back at the table before and asked them how old they were without us present at the table and proceeded to charge us way more than what we were told. They start their adult prices at 9 years old. That was not what we were told on the phone or we never would have came to this location. They lied to us, food was cold and gross. Never again. And this is for the establishment (I will personally make sure everyone knows of the Shady business work your employees like to display, lying to your customers is disgusting)

Ps it might have been worth being lied to and taken advantage of if your food was even...

It has been 4 years since me and husband has been here well we went in today's thought the food would be good it is still the same it's disgusting and most of the food is not hot and all the cold food is not even cold I ate two plates then my stomach started hurting really bad I came home and threw up My tummy hurts so so bad I don't understand why people put good reviews cuz there's food is trash. But the young guy that served us he was such a sweetheart y'all's taste bust must be wrong or something or you're just like eating nasty food it don't even taste like Chinese food it's really disgusting I thought everything would change by now every 4 years nope I wish I can get my money back because it's a so unfair and it' not worth the price for a buffet. I can't believe this place is still in business. Will not be returning back here for this...

Service was bad. First refill was offered way after we finished our drinks when he brought the check to us.... Also means we had stack of plates just sitting there...

The food taste fine but idk who they have chopping it up in the back but all the meats were in tiny pieces. It's not a huge buffet and a lot of the stuff had similar flavors (honey chicken/sesame chicken)

Biggest complaint about the food is honestly just how tiny everything was cut up. It was like deep fried shredded chicken.

The skewered teriyaki chicken was gross. It had a thick brown chocolate looking sauce squirted on top of it all and it ruined the meat. Please don't squirt on whatever...
