I have to say, the only thing I can comment on about this restaurant is that it claims to be good in its name. Unfortunately, my experience at Good Harvest Cafe was anything but good. The service was absolutely horrendous, and I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I actually have over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working my way up from being a server to a general manager. If I had a restaurant of my own, I would never allow it to be run the way this one was. It took us over an hour just to place our order, and then another 45 minutes to actually be served. In the meantime, my dog was in her kennel in the car. Thankfully, it wasn't a hot day, but we had to keep going outside to check on her. By the time we were finally able to leave, she had made a mess in her kennel and I had to clean it up. Now, I understand that it's not the restaurant's fault, but it just adds to the frustration of the whole experience. Aside from the incredibly long wait times, the food itself was mediocre at best. I couldn't even finish it, and to make matters worse, my granddaughter who was with me ended up getting sick. It completely ruined the rest of our day, which was supposed to be the first day of our vacation. To top it all off, they never even brought us our bill. I had to go up to the front and ask them to chase down our server. Speaking of the server, she would frequently pass by us as we sat right next to the kitchen door, but she continually ignored us, even when it was clear that we were finished and no longer interested in the food. In fact, I was subtly trying to signal that we were done by placing my silverware on the plate and putting my napkin on top of it, almost like a memorial to the horrible food we had tried to eat. However, she completely missed this cue. At first, I didn't say anything because I understand that people have off days. But to my surprise, when my mother and sister visited the same restaurant two weeks later, they had the exact same experience. So it's not just a bad day, it's clearly a problem with the management, the service, and the food itself. Based on my experience and the consistent negative reviews, I would not recommend Good Harvest Cafe to anyone.

I had a Denver omelet here a few months ago but wasn't impressed. Thought maybe it was a one-time thing and decided to try it again. Nope, I had the Denver omelet again. Bell pepper was big pieces that were barely warm and still crunchy while the onion was thin sliced and sadly the best part of the breakfast. The ham was cold and put in a pile in the middle, not even heated and spread out, just a ball of cold ham. The toast was just warm bread not toast. Ordered hash browns extra extra crispy and they were barely brown on one side and not even cooked on the other side. That might have been because of the server though. She brought me coffee that I didn't order and I told her I didn't order it. She still left it on my ticket and when I mentioned it she said she couldn't read her own writing and thought it said coffee not crispy hash browns. Really??? Yet she left it on the check even after I said something to her.

As a local I used to go to good harvest every weekend for a year, only great things to say and when people asked me about it and definitely the first restaurant to be recommended when people would ask me of a nice place to grab breakfast, today was the first time in 4 years that I went, after standing in a line of people waiting to be seated that flooded out the door, noticing 3 waitresses and only 7 tables seated I realized 5 or more tables with dirty dishes waiting to be cleaned off. People started leaving the line to go elsewhere, noone cleaned tables just kept coming to tell the people in line when the tables got cleaned they would be seats. I was told 4 times that they would clean a table for me. The waitresses definitely weren't slammed all the people sitting had food they just kept discussing that tables needed to be cleaned amongst each other. After waiting for roughly 20 to 30 minutes we got sat down and then one of the tables that was dirty only got cleaned because someone requested for it to be cleaned so they could move away from the bathroom to sit at the window. By the time we left they had just finished cleaning the tables and I want to say it could have been a new shift of servers who came in and took care of business. The food was okay, not great and definitely not worth 46$ for 2 people and I unfortunately will not be back to this restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very welcoming but I wish I would have went to fisherman's and ordered the same thing for almost 15...

Organic food perhaps, but this does little for my palate when the food is mediocre. My partner had the Tuna Manhatten and I had a broiled fish sandwich. Both meals were rather sad in appearance, but our salad and clam chowder were tasty. The bread on my sandwich seemed a bit stale - not old necessarily, but certainly not kept in the best location in the kitchen (or the food sat under the lamp for a wee bit prior to its delivery to the table).

In addition, we waited about 15 min to be spoken to prior to being sat, then another 10 prior to our order being taken. For the quality of the meal I would've expected to be in and out of there in 30-40 min, we were there for about an hour and that was eating in haste.

The drip coffee was good, my partner had a latte and it was miserable... ADMITTEDLY they were busy as heck and there really only seemed to be a couple of the servers who knew what they were up to, but this doesn't particularly excuse the undesirable dining experience... if you can be bothered, wait until you're up the road a few more miles and stop into one of the local cafes. I reckon the experience would be...
