Well don't usually give bad reviews. But I'll try and keep this short. Food is fair. Prices are great on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Half Price margaritas. (Issue with that further into review) And $1.50 tacos. Yay! The first time there and the waitress got my drink and My dates food order wrong. We both let it slide and continued on our dinner date. Good time was had by all. Till my date has a hearty laugh and banged the back of her head on a low hanging Modelo neon sign. Asked our waitress to go check on her because she was in the bathroom checking her wound for a long time. Asked to speak to manager to bring the potential dangers of this low hanging light just to mention it and advise that it be hung a little higher. And this is where it all went wrong. The lack of compassion. And her excuses where appalling. "Oh we didn't hang that sign the beer company did" and the good ole "we've never had a problem before" to which I reply " well they're a first time for everything and this is it!" Then she spewed out with"would you like me to call the COPS and ambulance" while looking at our margaritas. I'm not that easily intimidated by a half witted manager. We did proceed to have them called after we left. Never was an apology offered never was there a once of concern coming from Maria the "Manager" although our waitress seemed a little bit more compassionate. We paid our bill and left. (Since the manager was rude and confrontational I opted out to have the incorrect drink and food order deducted but did compensate the waitress. Which now I regret because as it was pointed out to me just now we didn't even get our orders of rice.) go there if you must so long as you don't drink there you never know with Maria the "manager". Read moreI normally don’t leave reviews and I rarely leave negative comments, however we just placed an order of 16 tacos , rice, beans and some drinks . I noticed that the rice smelled off , the best way to describe it would be like it’s going bad , I have made rice at home and I know how it should smell . Long story short I called to inform the staff that my rice smelled like it was going bad. I spoke to a Hispanic women , I wish I would of gotten her name . Anyways I could hear her telling the kitchen staff about my complaint , she then returned to tell me the whole word has been eating that rice today and no one has had any issues with it and that she just tried it and it doesn’t taste bad and she proceeded to tell me she didn’t know what I wanted her to do . I responded with , well I am the client but if I was in your position I would definitely offer some sort of discount for the inconvenience since at this point I will be throwing away the rice . She said unfortunately I can not do that because the rice is not spoiled , if it was I would be happy to do that for you. She said that sometimes the rice smells weird when you first open it from the carry out container. I proceeded to tell her that this is very unprofessional and unfortunate because we will not longer be returning as a regular customer . She responded with ok suit yourself . I am very disappointed with the level of unprofessionalism , it was a small rice container, I hate asking for free things but it was an inconvenience to us and I am a paying customer! Lady’s a smile would not kill you and when a question is ask don’t changes it to that’s all we have. Treat your cooks right don’t scream at them lady’s. I hate when waitresses act like if it’s the restaurant and instead of solving a solution they make it a little bit more difficult. The waitresses looked like they were angry and anything that I would say they were just like rolling their eyes. I understand they been open since 10 o’clock.
