Another exclusive review by yours truly Gammal Diaz. Place is huge but the plates they serve you… are even bigger. One of the highest rated breakfast places I have been to in Illinois. All my followers were asking me to review this place and here I am. We had a great waitress, she’s was very thorough with taking our order. We ordered the country fried steak (gravy on the side) and the sugga momma which was their version of chicken and waffles which had hot honey on the chicken breast and sugar pearls in the belgium waffle. The meals were huge and definitely worth the price. The only thing I can say is that both meals were delicious and full of flavor especially the sugga mamma, all the flavors mixed so well. Sweet and salty at its best. 10/10 they earned every review they have on there.

Gave this place a try based off of other reviews. I’m really happy I did. Walked in around 10:15 on a Sunday and was sat down immediately. Our server was so sweet and funny! She really gave off a warm and welcoming energy. The decor is very southern, weathered cottage like. A nice place to bring the family. While it was very busy it wasn’t too loud. The food was so good! Their fried chicken is AMAZING! So tender and moist 👌🏻. I ordered the “George’s Chix & Bacon Waffle” and my husband ordered the “Nasty Biscuit”. They were very similar. Just swap out the biscuit and Hash browns with a waffle. We really enjoyed the dishes. The serving sizes are very large. We definitely could have shared a dish. If I’m in the area again I would return to try something else!

Took pictures of our food it looked so good!! Then the disappointment set in. My son who is Iga deficient was served RAW sausage patty in his breakfast sandwich!!🤢 When I told the server she seen how bad it was. Our server took the patty back to show the manager and was told to take the price of a patty off the bill. Really that was an insult to me! I told her not to worry about it, it was NOT her fault. I've been in customer service a long time and know how this works. I went to the front counter to express my concerns on how it was handled and how I would write a review (so here it is). Treat your customers better when you serve poor quality and dangerous food. 2 stars because our server was fantastic and handled the situation with kindness.

I got the Nasty Skillet with pancakes instead of toast, and I was ashamed that I could not finish it. I was expecting a single smaller pancake as a substitute for the toast, but it was two delicious full sized pancakes. I'll have a hearty breakfast tomorrow with the remains of the skillet.
