McDonald's — Restaurant in Crestview

I usually dont leave reviews, especially negative ones, but me and my father went to get food here today and not only did we pay 19.75 for our food, we didnt even get the correct food. We ordered a number 5 and a number 7 (2 cheeseburger meal and a 10 peice chicken nugget) and we got home and then went to get our food out. They gave us 1 cheeseburger and a quarter pounder and fries. This was not what we ordered at all. And it is not like they didnt know our order as our receipt was correct and they put the bbq sauce for the nuggets in the bag. Very disappointing. The person at the first window (around 3-4 PM today) was amazing, very funny and nice when we asked him about the sign out front from the recent tornado, but the person working the second window was quiet and not interactive at all. Overall was not impressed with the fact that we paid for the food and then was ripped off. This is not the first time this has happened at this McDonalds but I always like to give restaurants, especially fast food ones, the benefit of the doubt as they can be rushed but last time I ordered here I was given 8 mcnuggets instead of 10. Absolutely zero service. Refused to take our order, we had to used the kiosk. The first didn't work at all,, moved to the next.Couldn't find item's, ask clerk for help she said just shrugged, said she didn't know and we would have to ask a manager. 10 minutes later, we determined no one was coming. Completed our order. 25 minutes later, still didn't have our food, or see a manager. But the people who came in and ordered after us had theirs. My husband had to go ask for our food. Ask for a manager again, never happened. The fries were barely warm and so much salt they were unpalatable. The fish filet was barely warm. The burgers were not even close to warm.The 7 employees milling around didn't care. One behind the counter made a rude comment. Absolutely zero service, and food doesn't rate a single star. On top of it, the dining room was freezing. After more than 50 years of going to McDonalds, my family is done, we will never set foot in a McDonalds again. Today's date 2-8-19. Over the past few months the service here has gone downhill dramatically. No sense of urgency or concern for the costumer. Whether in the drive through or inside expect to wait at least 20-30 mins to get your food.

Not sure if this is due this generation being totally devoid of work ethic or the "I'm owed" mentality of the younger millenials and leftists. It's hard to believe that the workers here think it's ok to have you wait 5 or 6 mins just to order, let alone waiting for your order to be completed, even then it's about a 50/50 chance of it being correct.

It would be nice to visit a McDonalds that carried the spirit of the original restaurants that valued costumers, kept a clean environment and understood that the $ isnt the most important thing. Perhaps those days are long gone and that's just wishful thinking. Or maybe this particular chain should hire managers that understand integrity and operating...
