D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches — Restaurant in Cromwell

Walked in and I ordered what I usually do at every location (A Large Chicken Number 9 with Half Steak on a Wheat Wrap.) The cashier (Kayla S.) didn’t know how to put in the ‘half steak’ in the order so she asked the man in the black shirt (Tom) how to put it in and his immediate response that they can’t do it. I explained that I am a regular D Angelo’s customer (I literally go to all of them in my state) and that they usually just write the words, “Half Steak” under “Wheat Wrap” in the system & that I get the same thing every time, so he runs to the back, says he needs to ask his manager. Manager tells him should be no problem. He comes back, starts making my wife and I’s order. At this point, there are now 6 other customers in the building. My wife and I are standing quietly waiting when they guy begins talking rudely about me loudly to the manager about my ordering what I did and accusing me of just claiming to be a regular customer, as if we weren’t literally standing right there. I immediately demanded our money back and refused the food. You have literally 3 jobs, take the order, make the order, present the order. 5 months ago I attended an event at MxCC which provided food from D'Angelos. I was satisfied and I love how the catering boxes came with a chip and cookie.

I decided to try ordering a sandwich from the store itself today (paying online to pick up) and I am happy to say the quality is just as good if not better than catering.

What I think are the best quality from the store are the staff. From the experience I had when I entered, the staff were very friendly and helpful when I went to pick up my order and this behavior never went away as more customers came to order. Shoutout to Alex and Tracy for making my Tuna Sandwich, it was delicious!

The store itself is spacious enough with plenty of tables and chairs to sit at to go along with the parking lot. The atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed my time there.

This visit has now upgraded my review from 4 to a 5 star review. I hope to come back here...

normally i have a very good experience here however tonight i'm not so sure,i ordered my usual sandwich on a wrap only this time i ordered large, well first there was no order found (ordered, paid and confirmed online) that was the first flag since even though i was early the order is usually ready 10 or 15 minutes before the pick up time, well when i said it was ordered over 1/2 hour before i arrived it finally appeared, not a real problem BUT the big question was when i received the order it felt like and seemed to be the same size as my normal order (small or med), i've ordered large before and it was MUCH larger and noticeably different, the attendant said well it is a wrap and that's a large. when i finally was able to eat it it was no different than a small or medium, not terribly thrilled with the size for what i paid although it was good i feel slightly...
