Dunkin' — Restaurant in Cromwell

Yiu can't beat Dunkin Donuts for a quick coffee and doughnut on the go or a relaxing hour in your hectic day. This shop is convenient to get to and has ample parking with a better than usual traffic flow pattern thanks to the bigger property size. The staff were friendly and efficient. This store has comfortable plush leather chairs and a gas fireplace to enjoy. The shop was busy but not overly so.

A few things I noticed on my trip this time were that they seem to have cut down on the Christmas/Winter decorations. This is something I used to look forward to and was sadly absent. Also I was a bit confused where I was supposed to order and where to pick up. It's not a restaurant site I frequent often, but one would likely figure it out.the signage for where to order would be good.

The service at the counter was prompt and accurate. The purpose of my visit was to buy gift cards for the construction team that was working in my house. The request was processed quickly and correctly. They again did not have the holiday print gift cards available and they were short on the card envelopes but they did get more envelopes for my rather large order.

Departing the shop I would recommend not taking a left. It's convenient if you are on the same side of the street but not for turning against traffic. Just go around the block (it's actually triangular shaped with stop and shop in the middle) for the safest route.

Overall I was happy with the visit. It was conveniently located for a stop in to get my gift cards done and would be a good place to get coffee. I would make an effort to return to that shop in particular to enjoy a treat by the fire on a day when I am...

The customer service here was awful. I came in there last night a little after 8:30. When I walked in the door there was two workers on duty (that I saw). I wasn’t even acknowledged, no “hello”, “I will be with you in a minute”, nothing. The place was totally empty, not one person in there, so it wasn’t as if they didn’t see me or were to busy to say anything. I got a juice out of the cooler and continued to wait and wait. Aggravated at this point because nobody has said one word to me still, I was flat out being ignored, I said, “can I pay for this?” At that point I wasn’t gonna place my order because I was mad and who knew how long that would take, seeing STILL nobody has even said one word to me. After asking if I could pay for my juice, I was told by this guy working the drive thru, with an attitude, “someone will be with you on a moment”. I waited again and another kid finally walked over, mumbled something, but couldn’t quite understand him. He never asked if I wanted anything else, no thank you, nothing. Just rang me up and then walked away. No I’m sorry, thank you, goodbye, NOTHING!!! Mind you, this whole time I only saw one car in the drive thru. I felt like I was inconveniencing them and I was a bother. I definitely will not go to this Dunkin’ again. There are enough of them out there that far exceed...

Update Long Review Sorry I come here everyday. For the life of me I cannot believe how this location has changed! Customer service is all but gone. The drink orders are usually wrong and have to get redone. The lack of training is evident with the new staff and social hour with the others. I'm feeling extremely frustrated because this is MY local Dunkin, we all have one! I ran into a short term past excellent employee at the grocery store and asked why she left so suddenly.

DISTRICT MANAGERS: When you have incredible staff like Liv and the few like her, listen! Fire the bad apples. Fire the trouble makers and gossipers. Let the girl go! Irrelevant how long she's been there. Maybe then girls like Liv and the others wouldn't quit! * There are kids out there who have work ethic and those kids won't work here. They get driven away and hate the job due to nonsense and lack of company standards. Trust me customers notice these things. I wish I wouldn't have had to change my review and make extra time everyday to come here to get my coffee. I used to like starting & ending my day with a quick visit.
