I’ve always had great customer service at this location—until today. I went through the drive-thru to order a kids’ meal, only to drive off and realize my box was full of sauce instead of food. When I went back through the drive-thru, I was told to come to the door if I didn’t want to wait in line.
Once inside, the manager, Jacob, was completely indifferent. He handed me food with an attitude, as if I was inconveniencing him, and dismissed me with a careless demeanor. Because of his poor attitude, I decided I no longer wanted the food and requested a refund. That’s where the situation got worse.
Jacob processed a refund—but for someone else’s card. When I pointed this out and showed him my actual card used for the purchase, he insisted it was my refund and argued with me instead of correcting the mistake. Then, instead of resolving the issue, he told me to “call corporate” if I had a problem.
After pressing him to contact the person over him, Cody, Jacob finally made the call. But before Cody arrived, Jacob came back and asked for my original receipt and, after fumbling with the system again, still didn’t resolve the issue. I waited 20 minutes for Cody to arrive, and within one minute, he correctly processed my refund. I asked him why did Jacob not do it that fast and he says “he doesn’t have a lot of experience in the area.” Well Jacob should have shared that at first instead of acting like it was me and not him.
Jacob’s dismissive attitude and complete lack of professionalism have lost my business at this location. All of this over a $7.35 kids’ meal—unacceptable. I have zero tolerance for poor...
Read moreI went through the drive through, ordered my food extra crispy. When I got home the food was obviously not crispy and was also missing the extra sauce. As we broke some of the tenders apart 3 of them were still pink. We threw all of the food away and I figured I would get a refund in a few hours when I was in the area. I understand the restaurant is new and people are training so i was very nice and understanding when I went in. The reason for the 1 star is the general manager. She tried to argue with me saying I could of eaten the food since I didn’t bring it back with me. That’s also accusing me of lying. She walked away mid conversation which was extremely rude also. You lost a customer over $16 by the way the manager handled the issue. On top of everything there wasn’t any apology from the GM or anybody else. I will say the young girl at the front counter...
Read moreWoohoo! Cane's Crossroads is open for business and serving the best chicken fingers in Texas. Grand opening was awesome - they know how to do it - at least two employees for every customer - everyone super friendly. Lots of grand opening swag.
Cane's menu is very limited - so don't expect variety, but they make up for it with quality and consistency - do one and thing and do it to perfection - and they do. I've never had anything but perfectly cooked, super tender, crispy coated, piping hot chicken fingers. Dang people - you really know how to run a fast food restaurant. Not like some other companies in the area which are slow, outdated, in desperate need of remodeling or have closed dining rooms. Y'all better step it up or Cane's will crush you.
Big Cane's fan and the new location in Crossroads saves me many miles. I will be a weekly...
