I just want to say a couple things. 1st when you work 6 til 7 or 8 and a lot of Saturdays means no shaved ice despite the fact I buy several quarts at a time. 2nd multiple trips to be disappointed due to no one there. 3rd last couple times I did catch it open the stuff looked old and melty, refreezed but half thawed made me wanna say something then but thought eh" maybe just a little melted...idk.. Most important though is this...when I have a bad experience "most the time a price or long wait issue" I dont go back, atleast for a while and like most we live on fast food garbage. Everyone knows what I mean where they slop your food togather even though it tool 20 minutes. Businesses can't help how disillusioned or just stupid some help may be. Not saying either about Nicks cause the employees have always been nice, professional and eager to serve you. Price isn't an issue because everything is to high including frozen water. It's just for me and those I know that love nicks wish it was open more freshly. Love nicks ice, but the world exists longer than a couple hours before dark. I know crossville is a not so.... alive town with zombies roaming around at night. Zombies ok, but no cruising town that's an offense. But if your jyratin or tweekin that's ok. But no cruising and no nicks Italian ice at night..sucks! Just sayin, Needin my shaved ice fix!!! Guess ill go to granny's in sparta n get anything I can think of...except nicks. Yeah ill do an update when Im available to stop in. Hopefully...
Read moreMy husband and I received a coupon when we transferred our State Farm Insurance to the community of Crossville for this quaint little eatery nearby. We finally got around to utilizing the coupon two days ago. The little eatery/ sweetery was just incredible! We ordered a chicken, bacon, and ranch panini meal paired with a Vienna hot dog with the works and we parked in the roomy parking lot beside Nick's to try out our first experience with them. The food was delectable to the point that we wolfed it down like rabid animals....lol. The panini bread was indescribably delicious; homemade if I had to guess? As an avid hot dog fan; it was as tasty as any I have ever eaten! The entire endeavor was well-worth the short time it took to take place. Thank you State Farm (Drew Moses) for your kindness in giving us the coupon along with astute precision with our insurance needs. Thank you Nick's; you will be seeing us often and very soon in the near...
Read moreI recently visited Nick's Italian Ice with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service we received from Jacey, was extremely poor. Despite ordering four regular-sized Italian ices, we were given very small portions, which felt discriminatory considering other customers received more generous servings. Additionally, Jacey's attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. This behavior was consistent with past experiences involving Jacey at CCHS, where she exhibited racist behavior, including the use of derogatory language. It's disheartening to see such behavior carry over into her professional life, and it greatly impacted our visit. I hope management addresses these issues to ensure all customers are treated fairly and...
